En este curso aprenderás a comprender diferentes contextualizaciones históricas y conceptuales en torno a los conceptos de museo, museología, curaduría y museografía, con el fin de desarrollar herramientas básicas para acercarse al mundo de la creación institucional de los museos y la elaboración de proyectos expositivos.

En este curso aprenderás a comprender diferentes contextualizaciones históricas y conceptuales en torno a los conceptos de museo, museología, curaduría y museografía, con el fin de desarrollar herramientas básicas para acercarse al mundo de la creación institucional de los museos y la elaboración de proyectos expositivos.

Con este propósito, en un primer momento, trabajaremos la definición de lo museológico, orientado a la compresión de la función social de los museos, según sus tipologías y su operatividad institucional; luego, en un segundo momento, estudiaremos el concepto de curaduría y las diferentes prácticas curatoriales; finalmente, en el tercer momento, estudiaremos el concepto de museografía y la naturaleza de la labor museográfica en la producción de un proyecto expositivo.

De esta manera, abordaremos el sentido del ser y el quehacer de un museo desde una perspectiva histórica, que dé cuenta de los diversos tipos de agenciamiento institucional que dan origen a un proyecto expositivo.

Este curso hace parte del Programa de Certificación Profesional Museología: exposiciones, públicos y comunicación digital que la Universidad del Rosario en convenio con el Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá (MAMBO), el cual se ha creado como respuesta a la necesidad de las personas interesadas en acercarse al quehacer museal y deseen emprender su vida laboral en el mundo de los museos.
