Welcome to my Color Correction Masterclass!
This lecture is an introduction to the course. Here we will see what is included in the lessons that are following.

"Premiere Pro Panels" is the first lecture of the course. Here we'll be making an introduction to Premiere's interface and its various panels. Specifically we will see how the interface is structured and how we can customize it for Color Correction and Color Grading. Premiere Pro is a very "flexible" program as regards the different panels and this allows us to transform it into a Color Grading application.

Content:

  1. Workspaces (Introduction)

  2. Panels:

  • Timeline

  • Tool Strip

  • Effect Controls

  • Lumetri Scopes

  • Program Monitor

  • Essential Graphics

  • Lumetri Color

In this lecture we'll be talking about Premiere Pro and it's Workspaces

In this lecture you will learn how to customize an ideal Workspace for Color Correction and Color Grading.

Performance Optimization is crucial for the software stability. A stable program as well as the fast responses to different commands, greatly improve the post-production workflow in Adobe Premiere Pro.

The terms Color Correction and Color Grading refer to two different processes that have huge impact on your final delivery. In this lecture we'll be making a theoretical approach in CC & CG.

Color theory is the foundation of color grading based on the human's color perception. It's considered both science and art and explains how colors mix with each other. In color theory, colors are organized on a color wheel and grouped into 3 categories: primary colors, secondary colors and tertiary colors.
In this lecture you will learn more about color theory and how is related to the process of color grading.

Choose the correct answer.

Download the media for practice from the Google Drive link.

This section will teach you how to manage your color grading process in a professional way.
The science of color management helps to obtain a good match across color devices. This also means that supports the creative process of going from something that you are looking at to its final output.
In this lecture you will learn about the Chromaticity Diagram, the basic structure of color distribution that is based on the color spectrum, percieved by the human eye.

This section will teach you how to manage your color grading process in a professional way.
The science of color management helps to obtain a good match across color devices. This also means that supports the creative process of going from something that you are looking at to its final output.
This lecture will teach you all about Color Spaces and will help you understand how to use them in order to impove the color correction process.

In this lecture we'll be making an approach in the Science of Color Management.

This lecture is an overview of Lumetri Scopes in Premiere Pro.

The first monitor that you will learn in this Section is the Waveform. Undoubtedly it is the favourite tool of colorists and filmmakers for Luminance and Chrominance analysis. Also, it is necessary for primary corrections as displays the entire tonal distribution of your video image.

Despite that many people use the waveform for the majority of primary corrections, colorists after the initial luminance setups focus more on the Vectorscope for Hue and Chroma adjustments.

Histogram is another tool that displays the tonal and color range of your image.

RGB Parade is very similar to the waveform monitor as gives you a look at the intensity levels of the video signal from bottom to top.

This lecture is an overview of the Lumetri Color panel.

The White Balance is one of the most important aspects of Color Correction. Premiere Pro provides us some great tools to set the correct white balance in our video image. In this lecture we will learn two techniques using these tools and some theory behind the process.

Learn what exposure and contrast is and how to control it in order to correct your footage.

This lecture talks about Color Temperature and Tint. Learn some theory and practice with the Lumetri sliders.

Learn what RGB Curves are and practice with examples.

Learn the Hue and Saturation Curves of Lumetri Panel.

Meet the Color Wheel. Learn some basics about the color wheel and its use.

Lumetri Creative is a really powerful tab of Premiere's Lumetri Color as provides various LUTs and other tools to adjust your image.

Learn how to create Lumetri Presets

In this lecture you will learn how to use the Fast Color Corrector

Three-Way Color Corrector is one of the first color correction effects in Adobe Premiere. In this lesson we will learn how it works.

In this lecture we'll recreate the color of the movie Django Unchained using multiple color grading techniques.

Learn the correct method of creating the black cinematic bars(letterbox) in your video.

Learn how to match shots using all what you've learned in this course!

In this lecture we'll be talking about vignetting and masking, two advanced color grading techniques used to stylize our footage.

Learn step by step what motion tracking technique is and how it works

Learn what is secondary correction and how to use the relative tools for it.

Learn how to create and save LUTs in order to use them in other projects.
