This will be our guideline throughout the whole course. The Social Media Jumpstart is the foundation of running a concrete social media management business. Follow these steps every single month or anytime you bring on a new client and you'll be soaring in no time!

Hello friends, in this section we will cover everything that goings into onboarding and how to ensure that your new client fully understands the next steps when it comes to working with you!

The first step, after you have a "Yes, I'm in!" from your new client, is to send a Welcome Email. You'll use this Welcome Email to set expectations, the next steps, and provide the client with a clear outline of what is to come. If you need an example, download my Welcome Email.

After your Welcome Email has been sent, make sure to send out your Contract at least 5-10 minutes after. Once they sign and you have signed, send out the initial invoice. **If you are not using a CRM system, make sure to send your client a copy of the contract.

Email templates are provided in the downloads.

Resources for invoicing:

Wave Financial

Dubsado

HoneyBook

After your contract and the first invoice have been signed, you will send your questionnaire to gather important information from your clients.

Use this Client Trello board template (link attached) to keep track of all your client's information. Feel free to invite them to this board so they can enter their own information.

There is also a link to the video instructions on how to add an Admin to a business page.

Let's see if you remember everything from this section! And don't fret, you can always go back and re-watch the videos.

In this section, we will be talking about systems! The big one is your content management system where you will actually manage your clients social media posts, but we will also discuss other systems you can have in place to make sure that you are successful.

In this lesson, we will discuss the importance of having a solid content management system in place to actually MANAGE your client's content.

In this module, I am going to show you the basics of using Trello so that you are comfortable with the system once you start bringing in clients.

  • Monday

**Now remember, this would be for YOU to keep track of your tasks. Not something that you would necessarily use with your client. You and your client will be using your content management board (Trello or Clickup) to be managing your tasks!

In this module, we will discuss why having a CRM (customer relationship management) is important and how to use one.

The two that I recommend are:
