HSK 4 is an intermediate level Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) exam that assesses non-native Chinese speakers' proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. This exam is designed for individuals who have a basic understanding of Chinese grammar and vocabulary and can communicate in simple Chinese. HSK 4 tests examinees' abilities in listening, reading, and writing.
HSK 4 Exam Format
The HSK 4 exam consists of three sections:
- Listening: This section tests examinees' ability to understand spoken Chinese at a conversational level. It includes questions based on short dialogues, conversations, and passages.
- Reading: This section evaluates examinees' reading comprehension skills, including the ability to understand different text types such as news articles, essays, and instructions.
