Critical Path Method (CPM) and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) are project management techniques used to plan, schedule, and track projects. CPM focuses on identifying the critical path, the longest sequence of tasks that must be completed on time to complete the project on time. PERT, on the other hand, focuses on estimating the probability of completing a project on time, taking into account the uncertainty of task durations. Both CPM and PERT use network diagrams to represent project tasks and their dependencies.
