Government Policy Analyst

Government Policy Analysts are responsible for researching, analyzing, and developing policies for government agencies. They work with elected officials, other government employees, and the public to develop and implement policies that address a wide range of issues, such as healthcare, education, and environmental protection.

Education and Training

Government Policy Analysts typically have a master's degree in public policy, public administration, or a related field. Some employers may also accept a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as economics, political science, or sociology, with relevant work experience.

In addition to their formal education, Government Policy Analysts must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They must also be able to communicate effectively in writing and orally, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
