Introduction to DaVinci Resolve

In this video we'll get started with DaVinci Resolve by learning about different things like how to create a project, getting an overview of the editing workspace, how to change the project settings, how to import your video and audio clips and so much more.

In this video we'll be learning how to easily sync our video with an audio file that has been recorded with an external microphone.

Trimming is something that is almost unavoidable because often times you'll be making some mistakes. In this video we'll be seeing how to easily trim our footage using the blade tool.

In this video we'll be learning how to add a B-Roll footage to your main video. A B-Roll footage adds meaningful context to whatever you are talking about in the main video. This is done by adding this small footage on another track on top of the main video track.

In this video we'll be learning how to add transitions in DaVinci Resolve to help beautify the hard cuts in our video.

In this video we'll be learning how to add text to your video in the form of normal and lower third titles.

In this video we'll be learning how to edit our audio by adding effects like Noise Removal and Vocal Enhancer. We'll also be seeing how to change the audio levels.

In this video we'll be seeing how to do some basic color grading and how to export our video so it's all ready to go wherever you want it to go.

In this video, I'll be talking about my personal experience with DaVinci Resolve and what I feel about it when compared to its competitor software - Adobe Premiere Pro.
