Syllabus

INCOTERMS
Neste módulo, veremos quatro conceitos. O comércio internacional é dotado de regras que extrapolam um único país e buscam a padronização de termos e práticas. Nesse sentido, os Incoterms estabelecem limites de responsabilidade para quem está exportando, como também para o importador do embarque. Mais do que conhecer os Incoterms, buscamos discuti-los estrategicamente, orientando a escolha do formato mais adequado para cada situação. Um conjunto de Incoterms são dedicados à entrega da mercadoria ainda no país de origem da mercadoria. Tais Incotems devem ser escolhidos com base numa sequência de informações que, dentre outras questões, terão impacto no preço da mercadoria e no custo total do embarque. Os Incotems que indicam a entrega da mercadoria no país de destino devem ser negociados em situações de pleno domínio das condições a serem encontradas para o desembaraço e demais trâmites internacionais. Por fim, a escolha dos Incoterms deve ser estratégica, de modo a garantir competitividade e também segurança para as partes responsáveis por cada etapa do processo. O profissional que atua em negociações internacionais deve conhecer todas as possibilidades e riscos envolvidos em cada decisão.

Seguro de Cargas
Neste módulo, veremos quatro conceitos. A contratação do seguro para uma carga internacional deve seguir regras próprias e seguras para garantir o pleno atendimento de todas as partes envolvidas. Dominar os conceitos e procedimentos exigidos é uma etapa essencial da formação do profissional de comércio internacional. A responsabilidade em relação a uma carga segue critérios objetivos definidos pelo Incoterms escolhido para o embarque. Em se tratando de um embarque com seguro, as responsabilidades são mantidas desde que medidas corretas sejam tomadas para a preservação da mercadoria. Empresas que não operam com frequência no comércio internacional ou que não contratam seguros para todos os embarques, podem adotar a prática de contratação de apólices fechadas. Trata-se de um recurso útil para a contratação de seguro apenas para casos específicos. Facilidades devem ser mapeadas, bem como os trâmites processuais obrigatórios. Por fim, empresas que operam com frequência no comércio internacional podem registrar seus embarque à posteriori, valendo-se de uma apólice aberta para todos os embarques ocorridos durante o período. Da mesma forma como ocorre com as apólices fechadas, as facilidades devem ser mapeadas e os trâmites processuais obrigatórios devem ser observados.
Modal Aquaviário
Neste módulo, veremos quatro conceitos. O modal aquaviário é responsável pelo maior volume de cargas do comércio internacional. Conhecer suas vantagens e a forma de atuação são quesitos essenciais para a orientação dos processos de cada embarque. Diversos tipos de containeres e de navios estão à disposição dos operadores do comercio internacional. A escolha deve priorizar a segurança e a praticidade na logística de cada mercadoria. Os custos variam e o tempo de viagem também podem sofrer impactos. Quem opera no comércio internacional brasileiro deve conhecer o Porto de Santos, sua geografia, características, infraestrutura e tecnologia. Dada a sua representatividade no escoamento das cargas e na recepção de produtos importados, ele abrangem muito mais do que o Estado de São Paulo e a região Sudeste do país. Por fim, todos os embarques são acompanhados de um conhecimento de embarque que, no caso do modal aquaviário, é chamado de Bill of Lading – BL. Cada modal também tem um conjunto próprio de despesas incidentes que variam, inclusive, na sua forma de cálculo. Conhecer o documento e as despesas decorrentes é essencial para a composição dos custos totais de cada embarque.
Demais Modais
Neste módulo, veremos quatro conceitos. O modal aéreo é um modal adequado para mercadoria com pequenos volumes e remessas urgentes. Trata-se de um modal com alto custo de frete, mas com vantagens como a redução no nível de estoque. O modal ferroviário representa uma alternativa viável para longas distâncias. Permite transportar diversos tipos de mercadorias em função da variedade de vagões e tipos de acomodações para as cargas. Sempre que houver disponibilidade logística para o uso deste modal, o embarque tona-se mais competitivo. O modal rodoviário representa a maior concentração de cargas no território brasileiro, sendo responsável por mais de 60% da matriz de transporte. Sua principal vantagem é a coleta e entrega porta-a-porta. No entanto, os riscos e altos custos devem ser analisados em cada situação a fim de garantir a viabilidade da operação. Por fim, mais do que conhecer todos os modais, o profissional que atua no comércio internacional tem que saber operar em todos os tipos de ambientes e com o uso de todas os mecanismos que existem à sua disposição. Nesse sentido, o multimodal é uma alternativa para a combinação de mais de um modal de transporte em determinado embarque.
