Salesforce basics: foundational career preparation

According to students, 'Salesforce Basics' offers a solid foundation for those new to the Salesforce ecosystem, especially professionals looking to enter a career in CRM. Learners particularly value the hands-on activities and seamless integration with Salesforce's Trailhead platform, which provide practical application. The instructor's clear explanations and helpful demo videos are frequently cited as strengths. While praised for its coverage of core components like security and permissions, some learners found the course to be too basic, suggesting it might serve primarily as a guide to existing free resources. A minor concern among recent reviews is that some content may feel slightly outdated, requiring a refresh.

"Parts of this course felt a little outdated, particularly in the UI examples compared to the latest Salesforce updates."
"While the core concepts are still relevant, a refresh would be beneficial. Also, some links to external resources were broken."
"I also encountered a few broken links. It's an okay starting point, but I'd suggest pairing it with other resources."
Focuses strictly on fundamentals, may lack advanced insights.
"The course covers a lot of ground, but it feels more like a guide to Trailhead than a standalone course."
"I expected more in-depth coverage beyond the basics. It's truly 'basics' and doesn't delve into more complex scenarios."
"If you're completely new, it's fine, but intermediate users might find it too superficial."
