This course is designed to prepare candidates for the CLEP Introductory Business Law exam with explanations to sample questions. The exam covers Business Law principles and requires a fundamental understanding of substantive law principles and general business science knowledge for a successful outcome. The 20+ hour Executive Juris Doctor course I teach is also on Udemy and provides a succinct overview of the major doctrines of American law. A hard copy of the text of the Executive Juris Doctor is also available online at Barnes & Noble and is an excellent go-to legal desk reference. Also, check out my other free business science courses on Udemy and other Business Science textbooks available online at Barnes & Noble. The questions discussed herein are sample questions from the College Board dot org website where you can purchase the $10 study guide and register for the $95 exam. It has the sample questions we will be reviewing in this course. Note that there is an answer guide at the bottom of the questions in the study guide, however, it does not explain why the answers are correct or incorrect. My role is to explain why the answer chart selections are accurate and the rationale as to why the other choices are not correct. I will also provide quick definitions of legal buzzwords you'll want to familiarize yourself with. The exam for accreditation can be proctored at an onsite exam facility such as a high school or college or proctored one-on-one online. Upon a passing score, students will achieve 3 transferable college credits. By listening to and reading along with the Executive Juris Doctor course and completing this course, entrepreneurs will possess the knowledge necessary to understand the rights and duties of business owners to operate within the legal parameters of the law and accepted business practices.
