El propósito de este MOOC es generar un espacio de diálogo a través del abordaje de temáticas claves para comprender y desmitificar la epilepsia con tal de ampliar la mirada y generar espacios de inclusión social.

El enfoque que presentamos es interdisciplinario permitiendo un abordaje que precisa su alcance; definiéndola y proponiendo una participación activa sobre, por ejemplo, como enfrentar una crisis y cuál es la manera correcta de ayudar y cuál es el importante papel que juegan el autocuidado y automanejo con tal de advertir aquellos factores de riesgo que pueden precipitar una crisis y aquellos que actúan como factores protectores. La intención centrales es poder aprender, aconsejar y dar el apoyo necesario a las familias, entendiéndolas como actores relevantes en este proceso.
