En este curso podrás identificar el rol de los Gobiernos de América Latina y el Caribe para facilitar la adaptación a la transformación digital que favorezca a las personas, empresas, emprendedores e instituciones. También reconocer de qué manera la digitalización de procesos transforma a las empresas y da oportunidades a la creación de start-up.

A través de 4 módulos que puedes hacer a tu propio ritmo, comprenderás cuáles son las tecnologías fundamentales en las que nuestros países deben invertir para garantizar la igualdad de oportunidades para sus habitantes, qué beneficios obtenemos al analizar la enorme cantidad de datos que generamos a diario y cómo los datos nos pueden ayudar a mejorar la efectividad de las políticas públicas.

Este curso es parte de la Especialización en transformación digital de Gobiernos, la cual te dará una mirada más amplia para la implementación de la digitalización en los procesos, trámites y gestiones para un mejor servicio a la ciudadanía.

Bienvenido al módulo 1 del curso, en el cual vamos a reconocer hasta qué punto la tecnología está cambiando nuestra vida cotidiana y qué podemos esperar de la era digital. Repasaremos la evolución tecnológica que nos trajo hasta nuevas formas de producción y organización de empresas y Gobiernos, y recorreremos las principales formas de conexión digital y las posibilidades que brindan a nuestra región.

Ciudadanos del mundo digital

Este módulo nos presenta los desafíos que debe afrontar América Latina y el Caribe para disminuir los diferentes tipos de brecha digital que la atraviesan, y facilitar el acceso a una conectividad de calidad para toda la región. Esto resulta fundamental para una correcta inserción de todos sus ciudadanos en la economía digital, a fin de que puedan afrontar los cambios que esta era traerá sobre el empleo y la sociedad.

Las empresas en la era digital

En este módulo reconoceremos cómo la cuarta revolución industrial está impactando a las empresas y sus procesos productivos, haciendo foco muy especialmente en el crecimiento de los emprendimientos a través de las plataformas colaborativas y las start-ups, cómo ellas pueden asentar el desarrollo de América Latina y el Caribe, y qué necesitan de los Gobiernos para lograrlo.

Gobiernos en la era digital

El último módulo de este curso aborda el papel de los Gobiernos en el mundo digital, cómo las tecnologías benefician su desempeño e interacción con los ciudadanos, así como también el impacto de la analítica e inteligencia de datos masivos en la mejor toma de decisiones. Hacia el final del recorrido nos acercaremos a las nuevas ciudades inteligentes y al uso del big data como herramienta de gran valor para la eficiencia tributaria.
