Most travel companies use Amadeus GDS (Amadeus Global Distribution System) to book flights, hotels and car hire. Learning an Amadeus GDS has many benefits, it could mean securing your ideal travel job, here you will learn the Airlines coding and Airports Coding first, then you will learn the Phonetics Alphabets, which the communication of Travel terms between Travel agents, these basics will help you to understand the base of the Travel agency before jumping into the Amadeus GDS Classes. Make sure you do not skip the base, as this is the backbone of your course, please. Keep in mind this course is designed to make the learners job ready for iata travel companies and the Airlines, please, learners can also work in the Airlines as a Reservation Agent, please.

More advanced level sessions are added to Amadeus of Master Pricer (special command of Amadeus), SSR Request, Encoding Decoding, Change of Date and Class in PNR and Itinerary and How to issue an e Ticket using Amadeus ticketing command. Amadeus was formed in 1987 by an alliance between Air France, Lufthansa, Iberia Airlines and Scandinavian Airlines System. Today, it is the leader in terms of number of bookings worldwide with around 42% of the global market as of late 2017. Amadeus specialises in Europe & Asia, and is less effective for the Americas. Its widely used these days in Germany and most of the Travel agencies  in Europe, USA , Australia use Aamadeus as their first GDS when it comes to flights booking.Airlines using Amadeus include: British Airways, Air France, Iberia, Lufthansa, SAS, Etihad AirwaysOther Companies: eBookers, Expedia, Opodo, Ian Allen, Eden Travel, Flightline, Travelocity, Grouphajjumrah and many other top travel companies are using Amadeus GDS system.
