Vector layers, on the other hand, are made up of mathematical formulas and are best used for creating vector art, illustrations, and text.

In this unit I explain how erasing things can be counter productive, and that the Layer Mask might just be your new best friend in Clip Studio Paint.

In this unit, students will learn how to convert scanned line art into digital format using Clip Studio Paint. The unit will cover how to import scanned images, how to adjust image settings and how to optimize them for digital workflow.

In this unit, students will learn how to set up the structure of a comic or manga story using Clip Studio Paint. The unit will cover how to create a storyboard, how to create and use templates, how to create panels, how to use the “page manager” feature and how to create speech bubbles and captions.
