Este curso te permite conocer cómo está conformada la industria de hidrocarburos, sus fundamentos técnicos y geológicos, así como identificar las implicaciones económicas y sociales de la industria de hidrocarburos. También promueve el reconocimiento de los distintos beneficios −económicos, sociales, ambientales, entre otros− que genera la industria; permite realizar un análisis de la industria como fuente de desarrollo; facilita la identificación del alcance de los riesgos que presenta la actividad energética; y describe los distintos elementos que conforman la industria.
