Курс «История Австрии и проект российско-австрийских отношений» нацелен на формирование у слушателей системного видения истории Австрии и двухсторонних отношений, что предполагает не только повествовательный нарратив, складывающийся из цепи событий и явлений, но, прежде всего, многоуровневую картину процессов, протекающих на макрорегиональном, микрорегиональном и национальном уровнях, а также на углубленное изучение российско-австрийского взаимодействия в рассматриваемый период. Курс лекций "История Австрии и проект российско-австрийских отношений" является совместным проектом российских и австрийских историков, подготовлен на основе научного издания "Россия-Австрия: вехи совместной истории" (ответственные редакторы Стефан Карнер и Александр Чубарьян).
