The Newborn Assessment: Heart Health
Congenital heart diseases, that is, malformations of the heart that begin in fetal life and are present at birth, are some of the most common congenital anomalies. These are important skills to master, as these congenital problems, when not treated, can result in disability and even death for your young patients. You will be asked to evaluate these cases in several ways.
