Understanding CRUD: The Foundation of Data Management

CRUD is an acronym that stands for Create, Read, Update, and Delete. These four operations are the fundamental building blocks for interacting with and managing data in most software systems and applications. Think of it as the basic set of actions you can perform on any piece of information stored digitally. Whether you're posting on social media, checking your bank account, or adding a song to your favorite playlist, CRUD operations are working behind the scenes. For instance, when you sign up for a new online service, you are "creating" a new user record. When you view your profile, you are "reading" that information. If you change your password, you are "updating" your existing record. And if you decide to close your account, that’s a "delete" operation.
