Vector design is a type of digital art that uses mathematical equations to create images. Unlike raster graphics, which are made up of a grid of pixels, vector graphics are made up of paths, which are defined by mathematical curves. This makes vector graphics resolution-independent, meaning that they can be scaled to any size without losing quality.

The terminology used in vector design can be a bit confusing, so it's important to familiarize yourself with the basics before you get started.
