Code.org is a computer science education nonprofit that was founded in 2013 by computer science professor Hadi Partovi and software engineer Reshma Saujani. The organization's mission is to make computer science accessible to all students, regardless of their background or gender. Code.org provides free online courses, tutorials, and resources for teachers and students. The organization also hosts an annual Hour of Code event, which is the largest single-day coding event in the world.
