Navigating the World of Web Accessibility
Web accessibility is the inclusive practice of ensuring that websites, tools, and technologies are designed and developed so that people with disabilities can use them effectively. This means that individuals, regardless of auditory, cognitive, neurological, physical, speech, or visual impairments, can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the web, as well as contribute to it. Making the web accessible is not just about compliance; it's about providing equal access and opportunity to everyone, recognizing that access to information and communications technologies is increasingly seen as a basic human right.
