Dietitian or Nutritionist
Dietitians and nutritionists are food and nutrition experts. They use their knowledge of nutrition to help people make healthy choices about what to eat. Dietitians and nutritionists work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, schools, and private practice. They may also work with individuals, families, or groups to provide nutrition counseling and education.
What Dietitians and Nutritionists Do
Dietitians and nutritionists typically perform the following tasks:

Education and Training
Dietitians and nutritionists must have a bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field. They must also complete a supervised internship program. In most states, dietitians and nutritionists must be licensed.
