UX & Web Design Master Course

This course will teach you everything you need to know about UX, including design, content, and coding. And you'll learn from the ground up, so it doesn't matter how much experience you have when you start.

You'll be exposed to principles and strategies, but, more importantly, you'll learn how to actually apply these abstract concepts by coding three different websites for three very different audiences.

Improve Your Website with UX Strategies

  • Apply UX strategies to a site's content & design

  • Understand Information Architecture to enhance the content on your website

  • Know what dictates how your website should look

  • Design and code a B2B website, a B2C blog, and an ecommerce site

Understand UX and Learn How to Develop Winning Websites

This course will help you stand out as a web designer, teaching you how to apply User Experience (UX) strategies that will make every site you build useful, usable, and valuable.

Reinforce what you're learning using the bonus 30-page downloadable UX Guidebook. Filled with exercises and activities, the UX Guidebook is a great tool to reference as you progress through the course, or while developing your own custom sites.

You'll also get hands-on experience designing and coding three different types of sites. This will give you the confidence to pursue similar projects if you're already a website designer, if you want to get into web design, or if you want to enhance your current business site.

Contents and Overview

Even if you're a complete beginner, this course will show you how to make a website functional, attractive and successful. It will walk you through all of the steps required to enhance the User Experience on any site, right down to the code, content, and design.

You'll begin by defining who your website users are and what they expect from the website. You'll also learn how business goals — yours or your client's — have to be uncovered and addressed for site success.

You'll learn what questions to ask both groups, and you'll use the answers to inform your content and design decisions.

Next, you'll dig into Information Architecture (IA), which looks at the content on your website, how you should categorize it, what you should call it, and more.

This will lay the foundation on which you can further build out your website to make users flock to it, stay on it, and hopefully make purchases.

Plus, you'll tackle how to design your website depending upon who your visitors are, whether your website is B2B (business-to-business), B2C (business-to-consumer), or an ecommerce site for selling products online.

Different audiences have different needs, so learning what your target user expects from your site means you'll be able to design and build a site that meets those expectations and leads to greater conversions.

In addition to knowing what you need to put into your website to make it stand out from the crowd, you'll also learn how to identify and remove UX- and UI-related obstacles.

The ability to see and solve these problems will ensure every website you build moving forward will be useful, usable and valuable to the people who use it.

Most importantly, you'll then learn how to actually build and code these types of sites using

You'll not only know how to effectively design

By the end of this course, you'll have an in-depth understanding of UX and web design, as well as the tools to develop a variety of sites with the right code.

You'll know why UX is so important to both users and businesses, what content is needed on a site, what UI design is appropriate, and how to transform your vision into a fully functional website using the most effective tools available.

He explains step by step WHY he is doing what he does, which is more important (to me) than the HOW.

Whole content is very broad, where teacher guides me through everything step by step while explaining every small detail.

Is a course very detailed and planned, that show us step by step the procedures and methodologies that we need to start nor only a digital product even every kind of products or services.

real world

Additional to that, it is applicable to the real world... (I already did my first website).

It supplies all the knowledge you need to know and each part is explained in detail with real world application.

Excellent hands-on instructions involving very clearly outlined concepts backed up by relevant sources and real world examples.

Incredible amounts of helpful detail and how to use in real world situations.

There were only few real world examples of "good" or "bad" UX.

I have not yet completed all the courses, but so far I think the lecturer did a good job in defining UX from the basic details to the overall picture of the field, it will be better if there can be more examples or case studies sharing from the real world.

The course is very comprehensive and applicable to real world cases.

The Course is logical and makes sense, I like the way every topic is being covered in a way anyone who is taking this course can understand and think through how they can apply in real world.

estou aprendendo bastante I like the real world advice and suggestions.

html and css

I already made a website with HTML and CSS, which was a great exercise, but I'm more interested to be able to edit the style of wordpress sites.

Pls carefully watch intros I got to learn about HTML and CSS.

I would advise anyone who is new to coding to take another course to learn the basics and best practices of HTML and CSS and their proper use.

The instructor also gave some good instruction on coding a website from the ground up using HTML and CSS as well as CMS (WordPress and WooCommerce).

Also, for anyone interested in the coding side of things, the explanations here are really basic (mainly simple HTML and CSS).

Excellent course for anyone looking to learn HTML and CSS He is very knowledgeable and the course is very in depth, however, I feel too much time is spent on UX research in the beginning.

until now

Yes, indeed it is as expected until now.

I likes it until now, look forward to learn more than the basics here.

Until now I've got very good impression because lecturer provides very useful tips.

Until now I find it really intersting and well organized.

Until now, we've studied the definition of UX as a whole, as an ideal, probably having in mind clients of ours that will listen to us, or do as we suggest, and everything is pink and beautiful... Real life is somewhat different, though... isn't it?

until now everything is ok, i should spend more time on the course before giving more comments.

too slow I like it Until now I like it I am curious about everything.

Until now seems very helpful and didactic.

rather than

Great information, but becoming outdated in reference to flat design as well as using photoshop rather than XD or Sketch for examples Very complete course, amazing content.

so far at video 18. its more focused on the UX rather than UI at this point.

Rather than actual assignments they're more of a "tag along" with Joe as he creates a design for a couple of sites, which by all means is still quite an effective way to explain this.

I am learning a lot so far, I appreciate that this is done from a general perspective rather than from a designers point of view.

I’m happy with the information provided so far and think it will be a great experience Easy to understand, but could add in some hands-on first rather than listening to all the slides first.

I would have preffered that all the video was recorded having Joe filming himself rather than a still image on the screen with some motion graphics.
