You're here because you love Asian food and want to eat healthily, right?
This Vegan Cooking - Chinese & Southeast Asian Vegan & Vegetarian for Beginners course is the perfect place to start. This complete course is designed for beginners like you who want to make healthy authentic Asian food at home.
Every lesson is hands-on and shows you how to create delicious, mouth-watering vegan and vegetarian Asian dishes right in your home kitchen. The instructor, Linda Clucas will walk you through the entire cooking process and is available to answer any questions you have along the way.
Knowing how to feed ourselves in a way that supports our health, weight, energy and well-being is one of the most valuable and essential skills to have for a vegan lifestyle today. Cooking your own vegan food not only helps you save money but also helps you stay away from processed and harmful ingredients. High-street cafes, shopping centre food courts, takeaways and even restaurants heavily rely on fat, sugar or chemicals to add flavour and disguise poor-quality vegan or vegetarian food.
The instructor, Linda, was born and grew up in Malaysia and she is passionate about cooking and eating healthy plant-based food. The Malaysian population is divided into three major ethnic groups: Malays, Chinese and Indians, therefore all vegan and vegetarian dishes created in this course are primarily a mélange of traditions from these three major ethnicities as well as neighbouring countries of Southeast Asia. You are going to learn how to make remarkably tasty vegan Hokkien noodles, flavourful vegetarian Malay satay, Chinese restaurant-style vegan broccoli with braised mushrooms and many more.
She is putting Science back into Cooking and Eating. The concept of fad diets has become so confusing, they come and go. Living a Whole Food, Plant-Based life is different. It is very simple, you just eat whole, unrefined, plant-based foods. When you adopt a vegan lifestyle you can prevent and even reverse chronic disease. This course is all about teaching and helping you to eat healthier, and to live a happier life. It can benefit everyone; no matter if you are vegan, vegetarian, pesco-vegetarian, semi-vegetarian, omnivore, or carnivore.

In this newly added lesson, you are learning an easy Kung Po Vegan Chicken. The combination of the authentic sweet, tangy and savoury taste sauce is the success of this vegan alternative to Kung Po Chicken. I have served this dish many times at dinner parties, and all guests have loved it and never guess that it is a vegan dish!
In this lesson, let's learn to make popular take-out food from a Thai restaurant at home. Most of the ingredients for making Pad Thai can be done in advance, it is a satisfying dish to have as a snack or a main course for dinner and lunch. It is quick and easy to make, ideal to have it for a party so you have all the time to socialize. This vegan version is packed with protein, fibre and vitamins, good for everyone.
Pumpkin is one of the most popular squashes that Malays in Malaysia use for making curry and desserts. It could be a perfectly hearty and warming veggie dinner dish for any occasion. It would be a perfect dish to celebrate Thanksgiving. Pumpkin seeds are very nutritious too; toast them, and add them as a topping to curry or eat them as a snack.
