Counter-Strike
Global Offensive — Play Like a Pro
Are you a regular CS:GO player but aren’t sure what you can do to reach a higher level of play? Are you curious about how CS:GO pros think when they play and practice? If so, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - Play Like a Pro is your opportunity to learn skills and strategies from a seasoned professional, gain a deeper understanding of fundamental game concepts, and become a more well-rounded competitor.
My name is Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert and I’ve been playing Counter-Strike for 18 years, with the last decade of my career playing competitively with top-level teams such as Evil Geniuses in CS 1.6 and Cloud9 for the majority of CS:GO. During my time as a pro I spent at least a few days a week coaching individuals playing CS:GO at various levels. After multiple years of individual coaching, I found that teaching the community as a whole via my Twitch streams and YouTube videos was more effective in reaching many more people. I’ve wanted to create a course like this for awhile and have a collection of tips and tricks learned over my decade of competitive experience to share with aspiring CS:GO players. My goal is to help shape how you view and play the game, and in the end create more well rounded players out of everyone who takes this course.
This course is built for players familiar with CS:GO who aspire to play at a higher level. I will help you master various skills by providing lectures, in-game examples, and practical tips that apply to each topic. Specifically, this course will cover:
*Intro sections include background on myself and my journey to pro, before jumping into the following*
Setting up CS:GO and finding the configuration that works for you
Mastering game mechanics, including:
Aiming
Crosshair placement
Recoil control
Grenade usage
Angles & positioning
Movement
Communicating effectively and efficiently during the three round phases, Solo Q and team play
Strategizing for early, mid, and late round play on both the CT and T side
Developing a process-oriented attitude to continually practice, improve your game, and avoid “ladder anxiety” as well as getting down on yourself
Utilizing offline servers to help practice outside “the game”
Utilizing community servers (DM, Retake, Surf/KZ)
Finding mentors and playing with/against better players
Approaching individual practice for maximum improvement
You’ll also get your hands dirty in-game by completing the activities and drills provided in each section. While the lectures will cover my best practices and key concepts for playing CS:GO, the activities will be your chance to apply what you’ve learned and find what works best for you.
I know that this course will help you not only fine-tune your skills in-game, but also to develop the professional attitude and practice-focused mindset that got me to where I am today. By the end of this course, you will be prepared for competitive play no matter what level you started at. If you’re ready to start the journey to high-level CS:GO, enroll in this course today. Let’s have some fun.

After that he will go about advanced topics, wich I am looking forward to see.
The quality is very good, exactly what I expected, looking forward to finishing it.
Looking forward to the next course ... Jordan, I wanted to take the time to actually fully review the footage before giving my exact comment on the course.
Great course for beginner through advanced players looking to round out their game, looking forward to another course with more of the advanced tips.
It’s really good for beginners and for experienced players, I’ve learned a lot and looking forward to try my best at becoming a pro someday.
Good tips also already and looking forward to the rest of the series!
Yes it was a very good match, and i am looking forward to seeing the rest of the course I absolutely love Jordan, he's doing an amazing job at teaching us the fundamentals of getting better and hopefully going pro at this game.
For someone who has played CSGO on and off for 3 years this coourse highlights key areas I have neglected and areas I can identify and develop efficiently to aid my playstyle So far its been a lot of personal information and Im looking forward to the technique portion and different thinking.
His knowledge of the game clearly shows when he speaks Good learning course and looking forward to your next course to more in depth discussion on each section I love learning about CS and i think Jordan does a great job teaching both newer and older players new things they can add to their games.
Looking forward to getting into some meat.
So far I think this is going to be a massive amount of intel and I'm looking forward to gobbling it all up Jordan is exceptionally good at explaining what and why he is doing something while doing it which makes the course flow very smoothly therefore you will not be bored for a second.
Looking forward to the advanced lessons.
Worth it For right now it is good :) I'm still early in the course but i'm looking forward for more things to learn.

get better at
I supported him because he seemed like a person to rely on to get better at this game, but obviously he is just like any other pros out there who only cares about their own performance and not other people.
Can only recommend to actual new players or people struggling to get better at the game.
Just as an example: Beginner-Level: getting your equipment and setup right -> find your personalized settings -> building mechanic skills and fundamental game knowledge -> build up map knowledge + get better at economy -> improve decisionmaking Advanced-Level: Movement -> play angles -> improve solo play -> improve as a team member (strats/rotations/...) -> ... Pro-/Expert-Level: how to improve and take the next steps, how to find/build good teams, how to get into the pro scene, tips at planning your carreer ... And based on that route one could explain how the course should help each viewer on that route to success.
In order to get better at CS:GO you need to put in a lot of practice and there are many things to think about, it's nice that he breaks these things down, and suggests other material to consume, even from other creators such as WarOwl.
Thanks, Jordan for the amazing course, i will stop at n0thing to get better at this game...
Most people buying this course probably want to get better at the game and not neccessarily go pro.
GL with Complexity Jordan I hope that I will see you at main stage ;) If you want to get better at cs, take this course.
I'm taking this course to get back up to my old rank in MM and get better at ESEA.
I thought this was just how to get better at the game.
I have always been into CS:GO and have always wanted to get better at it.

counter strike
I have been playing counter strike for about 5 years so most concepts im very familiar with however I love that N0thing goes very in depth even with the most simple concepts I have pages of notes for reference very good jordan go get yourself a beer Great course!I had learn a lot,I know some things but n0thing extends this knowledge by his insights in different parts of the game especially in the part "Mastering the Three Phases of the Round".Unfortunate side - I had learned that my mechanic and movement is bad and thus that's reason I had lost many duels followed by wrong peeking as well.
This course has given me an insight to one of my inspirations rise to counter strike For someone with 1500+ hours still useful and helpful!
Overall this is the best guide for improving at Counter Strike that I have ever seen.
It was a good match for me, I've hit a blockade with counter strike, saw this course by one of my favorite players on twitter and bought it.
I’m rewatching this course and I feel much better about my situation in Counter Strike I played CSGO for 4k hours and I'm still learning, very impressed with the stuff that Jordan had to say and I even learned some things I didn't even think about.
Honestly best comprehensive Counter Strike guide I've seen.
At the time of writing this I haven't finished the full course, I'm around 80% through however the core concepts and fundamentals of counter strike are not just explained one by one rather they are built up throughout.
This is probably the best info I've ever received to play Counter Strike.
I suck at counter strike.
It helped thanks :) I really appreciate N0things insight into small basic aspects of counter strike l. Very important to find nuance in basic skills and a good idea to go through basics even for more advance players.
its good honestly this far, i can get new refreshing knowledge :) i mean it just started i haven't learned too much yet but it seems good so far One of the best, sharing his experience on how he became the professional he is today, not only in Counter Strike, but as an individual.
This has really put a lot of things into perspective and has helped me see that my dream of becoming a professional Counter Strike Player is quite attainable.
Another perspective I've not seen of someone going pro absolutely To many pieces and still havens letande anything besides his history, but i know it already Great course Jordan is so good at explaining and motivating I enjoy learning about counter strike from my favorite professional YES!!!

easy to understand
Everything Jordan teaches and says is easy to understand and you can really see the experience and the time he have put in to these courses, and i think Jordan is very good teacher.
Easy to understand as well...
Its been awesome just do something for newer maps and newer metas like economy stuff N0thing is a god at the game and is always easy to understand and learn from so far this course has been a very informative and a great insight to how to be a pro player and a good teammate I thought the information was very insightful.
But I felt that all the info provided was good, easy to understand, and can help a large majority of people who are thirsty for information but don't have a credible source of info.
I'm from Spain, and it's so easy to understand what's teaching to me.
He explains things in such an easy to understand and easily relatable way.
The best n easy to understand :) Joining official teams and going pro not really my goal - I just want to develop personal knowledge of the game and be able to play with combo of friends and pub players I’ve been a big fan of Jordan for years, excited to hear more insight.
Easy to understand.
Lots to learn and isn’t just a lecture Great information and easy to understand Its really great i love it Seems like a good match.

Overall, it was worth the money and hopefully future courses will expand on it.
Well worth the money Jordan!
Absolutely worth the money!
N0thing has always been a great teacher and tried his best to help others improve and I believe with this course exemplifies that This is definitely worth the money at this point, I’ve learned so many great things from this.
Believe this course was worth the money :D Maybe given some ingame recorded audio for better understanding but in general very good.
Jordan tried to end the video in a rush but understandable as he doesnt wanna drag it too long :) i feel my skill level is below the average for people taking this course i don't ahve many opportunities to do the things jordan is suggesting Jordan has a very clear, concise way of explaining things and at an early stage of the course I can already tell it was well worth the money!

long time
It is concise and full of useful information that a casual player would take a long time to figure out and internalize by themselves.
I have known Mr Jordan for a long time, from the IRC days.
I have been looking for something like this for a long time!
I was seeking to buy it from a long time ago , finally able to hear and note what the legend has to say!
I'm a 1.6 veteran and despite having played for a long time and having quite some competetive experience with CS I still learn a lot here.

Highly recommended!
Would highly recommend!
I highly recommend watching a more noob-friendly guide to counter-strike prior to this if you have absolutely no knowledge to the game as many things aren't tackled; economy, pistol rounds, the different guns, etc.
So in conclusion, if you haven't played thousands of hours and want to improve I highly recommend this.
I will highly recommend this course to everyone who want to learn in depth everything about CS.
I was hoping to see more of retakes and more pin point kinda things N0thing is a incredible teacher I would Highly recommend this course Amazing insight!
I'm glad that I got this course I highly recommend watching every video with full attention.

his thoughts
Maybe one thing he could use, is clips or vods from his stream, that show real high level gameplay, and break down what he is doing, why he is doing it, and what his thoughts are.
Holding out hope that it’s just a bit of an introduction I enjoyed listening to Jordan's way of expressing his thoughts.
On his stream he would often "talk out loud" narrating his thoughts and movements and this course goes into even more detail.
it really fits my expectations so far Jordan is an awesome player/teacher and does a very good job at conveying his thoughts about everything cs related.
Si todo bien pro el momento yes Very good advice hai ok a Yeah good Im a pro now Jordan has a unique ability to explain his thoughts comprehensively and in real-time.
