My NEW Hot Stones Massage Masterclass Certificate Course (9CEU*) Will Transform The Way You Do Hot Stones Massage.

In this course, I’ll teach you a completely new approach that uses the stones exactly as they’re meant to be used—to deliver therapeutic, relaxing heat while giving massage strokes that feel absolutely amazing.

You will learn NEW hot stones massage techniques that will turn your hot stones treatments into the most requested service in your spa, just like we did.

Imagine offering a hot stones massage so exceptional that your clients don’t just relax—they rave about it, tell their friends, and start sending you referrals without you even asking.

That’s exactly what can happen when you use the right techniques—and that’s what this course is all about.

What our massage clients are saying:

"Mind Blowing Hot Stones Massage. " 5 STARS

"Hot Stones Massage, Wow, Wow, Wow. " 5 STARS

"Best Massage EVER. " 5 STARS

Need proof? I’ll show you real reviews from clients who’ve experienced these exact hot stones massages—so you know you’re learning techniques that actually work.

Why Most Hot Stones Massages Fall Short:

  1. They rely too heavily on the stones and forget to give a great massage.

-The hot stones need to be a compliment to the massage to enhance your incredible massage techniques-not a replacement for them.

  2. Effleurage with the Hot Stones… Then What? Make Something Up?

-After doing a few basic effleurage strokes, most hot stones techniques start to feel made up—like therapists are just trying to find ways to use the stones for the sake of it. “What else can I do with these stones?” Sound familiar?

NOT ANYMORE..

You’ll learn how to integrate the stones in a way that truly enhances the massage—not interrupts it. Because that’s what hot stones were always meant to be: a powerful complement to your hands, not the awkward “star of the show.”

  • A 90-minute complete body session

Syllabus

The first step to growing your practice is to ensure that every client receives a massage experience that feels truly special and personalized. When clients feel valued and experience outstanding results, they are more likely to return and refer others, creating a win-win situation for both you and them.

One of the easiest ways to elevate their experience—and increase your income—is by guiding them to the most beneficial treatment.

Their feedback highlights the powerful impact that heat, rhythm, and mindful touch can have—physically, emotionally, and energetically. These reviews aren’t just praise—they’re proof of how effective this method can be in real-world practice.

In this lecture, we’ll look at the two biggest mistakes therapists commonly make with hot stones massage—and how to avoid them. You’ll learn how to fix both problems so your massages flow better, feel better, and deliver the kind of results clients rave about.

Now that you know the two major problems holding most hot stones massages back, let’s fix them. In this lecture, I’ll show you the exact approach I use to keep the treatment flowing, effective, and effortless—for both the client and the therapist.

You can download the supporting ebooks that come with your hot stones massage course. These include treatment summaries, tips, client care guidance, and everything you need to review techniques and deepen your understanding offline. Make sure to save them to your device so you can refer back to them anytime—even without internet access.

In this lecture, I’ll walk you through the essential equipment you’ll need to perform hot stones massage safely, effectively, and professionally. I’ll share exactly what I use in my own practice—including types of stones, heaters, and accessories—plus tips on what to avoid and how to keep things simple and efficient. Whether you’re just starting out or upgrading your setup, this will help you make smart, stress-free choices.

Before you begin treating clients, it’s essential to understand when hot stones massage should be avoided or modified. In this lecture, we’ll go through the key contraindications—both general and specific to heat therapy.

In this lecture, I’ll explain why I personally don’t use cold stones in my treatments—and why I feel they can interrupt the relaxation and flow of a hot stones massage. While some therapists do use them for contrast or inflammation, I’ll share why I’ve found them unnecessary, and how staying consistent with warmth creates a more soothing and cohesive experience for clients.

If you’re brand new to  massage and feeling unsure about how to set up your space or equipment, don’t worry—I’ve got you covered later in the course. There’s a full walkthrough coming up that will show you exactly how to get started, step by step. You can go to the setup section now or look at it later.

Struggling to get your clients to upgrade from a basic relaxation massage to your hot stones treatment? In these upcoming lectures, I’ll share simple strategies that work. You’ll learn how to talk about the benefits in a way that excites clients, how to position hot stones as a value-added experience, and the one mindset shift that makes offering upgrades feel natural—not pushy. If you’ve had trouble getting clients to try something new, this will help turn that around.

Asking this one simple question and guiding clients toward the right massage isn’t just about increasing your income—it’s about using the power of expectation, trust, and belief to deliver a better experience with better outcomes.
You become not just a therapist, but a guide—and that’s where real transformation happens.

Now, let’s take things up another level. You’ve already learned how to make your clients feel special and give them a more personalized experience. But what if there was a simple way to enhance their results even further—while also increasing your income effortlessly?

This next step is something that many therapists overlook, yet it’s one of the easiest and most effective ways to add even more value to your sessions.

Once you have given them an amazing massage experience which such as the 90 minutes hot stones massage for example, as long as you have gotten all of the other things that I talk about later in the course correct (or most of them), they will be rebooking the same treatment from you because it felt so great! Now, you will have that client as a regular 90 minute hot stones massage client rather than a 1 hour relaxation massage client, or worse-not a regular client at all.

The Next Step to Create a Truly Personalized Experience-The Secret is to use the words by how it makes you feel.

Now that you’ve started tailoring your client’s session to their specific needs, let’s take it one step further. Imagine how much more valued and confident they’ll feel in their treatment when they understand exactly what’s available to them and how it can benefit them.

Most clients don’t actually know which type of massage is best for them—they just book what sounds familiar. But when you take a moment to briefly guide them through their options, they’ll not only appreciate your expertise but also feel like their session is being crafted just for them.

Now we need to practice with the other massage styles and their benefits so that we have everything ready but first remember this!

What are you going to recommend for that client with stiffness when you have several types of massage styles that you could potentially offer and what benefits? Lets look at that now.

The sequences in this course are here to guide you, not confine you. My goal is to give you a solid foundation in hot stones massage techniques—so you can learn the skills, understand the flow, and develop confidence. But once you’ve got the basics down, I encourage you to make it your own.

Massage isn’t about rigid routines—it’s an art. And the best massages happen when you’re not just repeating movements, but listening to your client’s body and following your intuition.

Stone Placement on the Back: The Goldilocks Method

When it comes to placing hot stones on the back of the body, the key is to find what I like to call the “Goldilocks Method”—not too many, not too few, but just right.

It might be tempting to use as many stones as possible, especially when you have a full set and want to give your client the most luxurious experience. But here’s the thing:

Using too many stones can:

  • Feel cluttered and overwhelming (for both you and the client)

  • Interrupt the natural rhythm of the treatment as you constantly stop to place, adjust, or remove stones

  • Become unnecessarily time-consuming and complicated, breaking the flow of the massage

  • Cause stones to lose heat faster while they sit unused on the body

On the other hand…

Using too few stones can:

  • Leave large areas without the soothing warmth clients are expecting

  • Reduce the overall therapeutic effect and relaxation experience

  • Feel underwhelming or “unfinished” to the client

So What’s Just Right?

Let's go through that...

Before I even place a single hot stone, I always begin with something simple—but incredibly important: touch.

The very first moments of a massage set the tone for everything that follows. So here’s how I personally start every session to create a smooth, comforting, and professional experience for the client.

These first few minutes are everything. They create a seamless, grounded start that feels natural and luxurious—and gives your client a sense that they’re in very good hands.

Now that we’ve placed the stones on the back and the client is fully settled, we begin with the back of the legs. This is where the warmth from the stones starts to work deeper into the larger muscles, and where you can start blending therapeutic strokes with full relaxation.

Tips While You Practice:

  • Try not to rush—move slowly, just like you would in a real treatment.

  • Keep your strokes fluid and rhythmic, switching stones when needed.

  • Pay attention to how the stones feel in your hands as well—are they too hot, too cool, or just right?

  • Use this time to build muscle memory and develop confidence.

Now that you’ve finished working on the first leg, it’s time to repeat the same sequence on the other side. Remember, this side might feel slightly different—so stay present, adjust your pressure if needed, and work with intention.

To help you get into the flow, I’ll now put on some music so you can practice the full sequence without interruption.

Let the music guide your pace. Focus on your breathing, your body mechanics, and how your hands (and stones) feel on the body.

This is your time to bring everything together—technique, flow, and presence.

Now We Begin the Back

Now that both legs are done and the client is deeply relaxed, we move on to the back. This is often the most anticipated part of the treatment, and where the stones can really shine—melting away tension and allowing for deeper, slower work without strain.

Take your time here—this is where the deep transformation often happens. The combination of heat, pressure, and presence can create an unforgettable experience.

Now we move to the neck—a place where so many clients carry stress and stiffness. The warmth of the stones here can make a big difference, helping muscles soften quickly and allowing you to work more effectively without needing to use much pressure.

Now we move on to the face and head—areas that often hold subtle tension clients aren’t even aware of. This part of the treatment brings everything together, helping calm the nervous system and gently ease the client out of the deeper work.

This gentle use of cool stones on the face can help reduce puffiness, calm the skin, and offer a clean, refreshing close to the session. It’s important to note that I only use cool stones here—never cold ones—and only for a short period to balance the warmth of the rest of the treatment.

Now we move to the arms—often overlooked, but incredibly important for creating a sense of full-body balance and connection. The arms carry more tension than we sometimes realize, especially in clients who work with their hands, type all day, or hold stress in their shoulders.

Now the other side...

now the other side...

We finish the treatment with one of the most loved and grounding parts of the entire session—a deeply relaxing foot massage.

By now, your client is warm, relaxed, and deeply settled into their body. The feet are the perfect place to end, helping them feel supported, complete, and reconnected from head to toe.

Practice Time: Bringing It All Together

Now that you’ve learned the key elements of each area in the hot stones massage, this is your time to practice the full sequence from start to finish.

Remember:

  • This is not about getting it “perfect.”

  • Focus on flow, presence, and connection.

  • Let your body guide you. Let your client’s responses guide you even more.

You’re not expected to remember every detail. Instead, focus on creating a beautiful experience using what feels natural and effective for you. This is where the learning becomes real—through touch, rhythm, and repetition.

Put on some relaxing music, set your space, breathe—and enjoy the process.

Play some calming music, take your time, and allow the treatment to unfold naturally. This is where everything you’ve learned comes together. Stay relaxed, stay present, and enjoy the process.

This isn’t about memorizing every detail—it’s about building confidence, rhythm, and touch.

Now we will do the front..

In this session, we’ll move through a complete 90-minute full body hot stones massage, covering both the back and front of the body. This is one of the most popular session lengths—long enough to deliver a deeply therapeutic and relaxing treatment, without feeling rushed.

This treatment is perfect for clients who want a full-body experience with time for you to work more intentionally—but without the length of a 2-hour session. Use this as your go-to balanced, all-purpose treatment format.

This focused 45-minute session is designed to deliver maximum relaxation in minimal time by working on the areas where most people hold stress: the back, neck, face, and head.

It’s perfect for clients who are short on time but still want to feel the deep release and comfort that hot stones provide.

This 30-minute session is a deeply grounding and soothing treatment focused entirely on the feet. It’s ideal for clients who are on their feet all day, experience lower body fatigue, or simply want to unwind without a full-body massage.

Using heated stones, you’ll work with intention and rhythm to release tension, improve circulation, and calm the nervous system—all through the feet. The heat helps soften tight areas effortlessly while offering a luxurious, spa-like experience.

If you’re new to massage or haven’t taken any of my other courses yet, this section is designed just for you. We’ll quickly cover the fundamentals you need to know to get the most out of your training, including basic principles of touch, working with confidence, and setting up a professional, safe, and client-centered session.

Before we dive into the massage techniques, let’s quickly go over the essential equipment you’ll need. I’ll show you what types of stones to use, how to heat them safely, what to avoid when it comes to heating methods, and a few extra tools that can make your treatments easier and more professional.

Choosing the right massage table makes a big difference in your treatments. In this section, I’ll walk you through the four most important things to consider—comfort, stability, height, and durability—so you can deliver the best possible experience for both you and your clients.

Learn how we set up our massage tables in the most efficient and practical way - remember, the small touches will separate you from the rest!

Managing time well is crucial for creating a smooth, professional experience in your clinic or spa. In this section, we’ll look at why timing matters so much—from session flow to client satisfaction—and how you can stay on track without feeling rushed.

In this lecture, I’ll share a few things that many therapists do during their massages that I choose not to. I’ll explain what these habits are, why I avoid them, and how making these small changes can lead to better client experiences and better results.

In every massage session, the first priority must always be to protect the client’s well-being. In this section, we’ll talk about what “Do No Harm” really means in practice, and how to ensure that every technique you use is safe, appropriate, and supportive for each individual client.

Getting honest feedback is essential for improving your skills. In this section, I’ll explain who the ideal person is to practice on and get feedback from—and why choosing the right person makes a huge difference in your development as a massage therapist.

Great massage isn’t about using muscle strength—it’s about using your bodyweight and proper weight transfer. In this section, I’ll show you how to work more effectively and effortlessly by letting your body do the work, helping you deliver deeper pressure without tiring yourself out.

One of the best ways to become a better therapist is to regularly receive massages yourself. In this section, I’ll explain why experiencing massage from the client’s perspective is so valuable—and how it can improve your technique, sensitivity, and overall understanding of what clients truly need.

Quiz time.
