User Experience Design Essentials - Adobe XD UI UX Design

Are you excited to get into the world of UI/UX but you don't know where to start? This course will allow you to add UX designer to your CV & start getting paid for your new skills.

Hi there. My name is Dan & I’m an Adobe Certified Instructor. I’m here to help you learn Adobe XD efficiently and comprehensively. XD is a fantastic design tool used by industry professionals to product high quality & functional mockups. By the end of this course, you will be able to produce practical and effective User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) designs.

Throughout the course I’ll invite you to participate in a real-life freelance project which I’m working on. It’s a project that requires a fresh website and mobile app interface. This will prepare you for dealing with real world projects if you choose to move towards a UX/UI career path.

  • Aria: "This course is definitely above expectations so far. I didn't expect to get so much insight into the briefing and the communication between UX Designer and a client. It helps to see the brief and to learn that there are different tiers of income based on projects and experience. Love It. "

This course is aimed at people interested in UI/UX Design. We’ll start from the very beginning and work all the way through, step by step. If you already have some UI/UX Design experience but want to get up to speed using Adobe XD then this course is perfect for you too.

First, we will go over the differences between UX and UI Design. We will look at what our brief for this real-world project is, then we will learn about low-fidelity wireframes and how to make use of existing UI design kits.

I’ll go over all of the essential tools necessary for creating excellent wireframes, including: type, colours, icons, Lorem ipsum, artboards, prototyping, models and popups, symbols and repeat grids. We will even make use of the new prototyping app so that you can experience your prototype on your mobile device.

  • Kate: Excellent course - Dan is an excellent teacher and I thoroughly enjoyed following along with his videos. Highly recommend. July 2018: I have updated this review with an extra star because of how useful this course has been in the months following it's completion. I am using Adobe XD daily and Dan's instruction was instrumental to adding this feather to my front-end web development hat.

An important part of maximising your UX Design workflow is being able to utilise other software such as Photoshop and Illustrator. This is why I’ll be teaching you how to make use of both to help boost your XD productivity.

One of the awesome new features of XD is micro-interactions. I’ll be teaching you all about those and how to use them to grow icons and scenes. This is one of the parts of web design that’s growing and being adopted rapidly so you won’t want to miss out on learning it early.

  • Leigh: "I really enjoyed this course. I was a UX designer before the course and was looking for more information on XD and getting to know the program itself better, and this course really nailed it. It has great UX references and a few refreshing perspectives. As well as it really helps you learn XD in the process. The instructor is engaging and fun to listen to. Really really great course. I highly recommend to any new UX designers, as well as veterans looking for a refresh, or just to learn how to use XD."

There are two class projects for you to complete during this class, these will help develop your skills and will give you something for your own portfolio.

It is now time to upgrade yourself & learn Adobe XD.

I would like to have english subtitles with the correct words, not automatically subtitled with multiple errors Yes very useful course ... thanks friend :) it s really clear the way how he explain and step by step giving the full knowledge of the entire ux world.

The instructors are able to walk you through step by step to help you understand what is being taught, why “x,y,z” are “x,y,z” I'm learning a lot.

The transcript would be useful if there were step by step guides, because it moves too quickly through the the content and isn't clear about so many aspects.

Very detailed, step by step guide on how to use Adobe XD.

It takes you through step by step.

user experience

A great user interface and user experience is very important.

This is course is great for those who want to learn Adobe XD, as a tool, but only briefly discusses User Experience design.

#####CAVEATS IT’S A LOT OF WORK: It’s easy to see this course is listed as 11.5 hours and think wow I can learn about User Experience in less than a week!

I love creativity and User Experience Design seems to be about that!

I like that you're are straight to the point kind of person with just right ratio concrete info vs extra comment Its really interesting i am really looking forward to have more user experience in this course module... Let see.. in the upcoming course modules.

Maybe it's a good choice for somebody who wants to know how to navigate in Adobe XD, but not for somebody who is looking to learn how to build a compelling and attractive user experience.

Good user experience so far.

And the user experience of the tool Adobe XD is much better I have to say :) Thanks Daniel!

for the instructor: very professional and easy to understand and direct to the point instructions, thanks alot mr.Daniel :) but as the course title, i wish if you can focus and explain more about the user experience and how can we apply it by the design Good course.

Its really a great course on User Experience on udemy.

muito bom, agora irei fazer o Adobe XD - User Experience Design 2019 This course is exactly what I was looking for.

I like it, maybe if you focus more on user experience it will be awesome, Thank you Daniel So far seems very well made and thought out.

very good content with good pace Excellent good_course.just_need_more_User Experience(ux).

This course is very easy to understand and he is very clear with this explanation of user experience Super chill instructor shows transparency around his design life, is modest, easy to understand, and very likable.

even though

This is a really good course even though I've already worked on projects in XD before.

Even though I have extensive experience with other software in the Adobe Environment, I always learn something new from him.

I'm even considering the photoshop course even though I have been using it for years, because he explores features I never knew existed.

I loved the course,..I set out to learn this course to without any design experience, and even though my designs looked so much clumsier than the other samples on the exercise sections,..I feel so happy that I've got so much better than where I was when I started...Dan's an amazing teacher, keep up the good work, Dan!

Even though I was at the beginning of the course, there were many things I learned.

video quality is not great, even though quality seems to be 720px but quality is not good.

Even though it just started, this is the cleanest and most well-organized courses that I have taken on Udemy.

I found this helpful because even though I knew how to use a certain tool or shortcut I had forgotten why I use it, what the "long way" of doing the action was, or I just found it to be a good reminder.

Even though I mostly knew the things you were talking about (because of other tutorials prior to this) your approach in explaining tools and the reasoning behind your decisions is just great.

Even though we are just getting started, it looks very interesting, and the lecturer keeps my attention throughout the whole lesson.

Even though it's beginning material, he moves around like he's teaching advanced students that already know their way around the program.

Even though I haven't had time to complete the entire course, I already feel that I won't learn as much as I expected.
