Derechos humanos y empresas es un curso _ __* ___URosarioX * enfocado en describir la aplicación de los derechos humanos en las empresas y cómo crear entornos de crecimiento personal y profesional para todas las personas que están inmersas en el mundo empresarial.

En esta experiencia de aprendizaje, algunos expertos compartirán sus experiencias sobre el desarrollo de proyectos relacionados con la aplicación de los derechos humanos, los retos que afronta la empresa y sus impactos positivos tanto en el ámbito empresarial como social.

En primera medida, abordaremos el concepto de derechos humanos, para posteriormente explicar cuál es su relación con las actividades empresariales.

En un segundo momento, analizaremos el recorrido del debate que sobre este tema ha surgido a lo largo de la última década y las iniciativas a las que ha dado lugar, especialmente en torno al concepto de debida diligencia empresarial en derechos humanos.

Al finalizar el curso, tendrás conocimientos sobre la relación entre la actividad empresarial y los derechos humanos, con el propósito de identificar los mecanismos y las políticas que se pueden aplicar en los entornos empresariales, a fin de crear ambientes laborales que protejan y promuevan los derechos humanos.

El curso cuenta con un enfoque práctico para facilitar la comprensión de las implicaciones de los estándares para Estados y empresas. Para ello, se utilizarán recursos de contenido teórico, documentos de referencia, videos, casos y cuestionarios.
