Welcome to Weight Loss 101. We will answer this important question: "How will I take in fewer calories but not feel deprived or starved during my weight loss plan?" We tend to think there is some 'magic formula' to lose weight. This is largely a fantasy. However, there are certain things that you can do to accelerate weight loss and help you look great. In this section, I will share these weight loss secrets with you. But first, let's start with the most basic (yet highly essential) formula for weight loss management. This will help you understand why it is possible to detox and cut out refined products but STILL gain weight.

Learn how to prevent yourself from over-eating effortlessly. Your body is created to naturally and easily manage a normal and healthy weight. Your body was designed to get its fuel from fat. When you get your energy from good fat instead of refined sugar and carbohydrates, you lose fat easily. It also nourishes your metabolism and keep you from going from one sugar rush to the next. When you eat a diet high in fat, it is important to keep two things in mind: Firstly, eat a lot of green vegetables to keep your body clean and secondly, eat mostly good fats and limit your bad fats.

In this lecture, you will learn about the difference between good fats and bad fats. Fats can be categorised into 4 main groups: (1) saturated fats, (2) trans fats, (3) monosaturated fats, and (4) polyunsaturated fats. It is considered that most heated saturated fats, as well as trans fats, are harmful. Good fats include monounsaturated fat and polyunsaturated fat. But these fancy words won't help you unless you know what foods represent them. In this lecture, you will learn what fat to eat to lose fat. The high fat diet advocates eating a lot of fat, including a lot of animal fat. Personally, I find it difficult to eat animal fat. I prefer consuming fat from more natural plant-based sources such as cold-pressed olive oil and coconut oil, as well as avocados, nuts, olives and occasionally, full fat cheese. In this lecture I will share my favourite plant based protein snack and its benefits.

This lecture introduces you to the Six C's. These are six healthy foods that will help you to curb the sweet tooth. They give you a very satisfying dessert-like feeling and promote weight loss! You don't need to be deprived anymore. Learn what sweeteners are good options for weight loss and what sweeteners you need to avoid. One of these healthy sweeteners is 200 times sweeter than sugar and contains virtually no calories!
