To be eligible to create a Google Ads account, you need to meet the following basic requirements:

  1. Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create a Google Ads account.

  2. Google Account: You need a Google account to sign up for Google Ads. If you don’t already have one, you can easily create one.

  3. Valid Payment Method: You must provide a valid payment method (credit card, bank account, etc.) for billing your Google Ads campaigns.

  4. Business Information: If you’re running ads for a business, having complete business information like your website URL and contact details will help set up campaigns.

Meeting these conditions will allow you to start creating and managing your Google Ads campaigns.

Here are the common ways to set up a billing method in Google Ads:

  1. Credit or Debit Card: The most common method. You can add a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or other accepted cards.

  2. Bank Account (Direct Debit): Link your bank account directly to Google Ads for payments via direct debit. This option may take a few days for verification.

  3. PayPal: In certain countries, you can link your PayPal account to pay for Google Ads.

  4. Manual Payments: Add funds to your account in advance. Google will deduct the advertising costs from the pre-paid balance until it’s exhausted.

  5. Monthly Invoicing: For large advertisers, Google offers a monthly invoicing option. You need to apply and be approved for credit by Google.

You can choose a billing method when you first set up your account, or change it later in the "Billing and Payments" section of your Google Ads account or at the time of Google ads account setup.
