Have you ever wondered why women find reckless "bad boys" so
irresistibly attractive? The kind of guy who shows little respect for women, only cares about himself and displays a nasty attitude towards society in general. The kind of guy who every mother and father used to warn their daughters against ever since they began dating as young girls?

The first step to be respectable is to look respectable. So, whether you are potato couch, a working professional or an athlete, dressing like a pro is important. Even the sporty look can surface the real gentleman within you if you pair the ensemble the right way. Always dress stylish, but keep it simple and the trend shall follow. Wonder how can a sports style look elegant and subtle? Listed below are some of the quickfire tips that can make both the ends of men's meet effortlessly. Gear yourself with the simple ideas and be a trend-setter instead of following the herd.

The suit has become part of every man's wardrobe. This is for the reason that mens suits is a very flexible wardrobe that it can be used at almost every occasion, from formal events to even the casual. If you don't have a suit at your wardrobe, it is the time to start thinking about investing on it. But how do you choose the right suit for you? And how would you know that you have the right suit to wear? Would you stick to the classical and the traditional or would you go bold with new and stylish designs?

At the turn of the century, men have evolved to include new roles under their belt. They are no longer confined to just brawn. These days, you have metrosexuals being the new norm- and women love them! Here are a few things that may just play the modern man cards right for you.

Get dapper. Get a suit and look instantly better! Invest in a quality, bespoke suit that commands attention and tells the world you know how to take good care of yourself (and your woman).

Appreciate art. Own something original, like a painting. You don't have to lose your entire fortune, but a modern man is one who is sophisticated as well. It shows you have a refined taste and who knows; it might be an investment that might pay off more in the future.

When I was young I thought, "I am bad! When I grow up I am going to be a gangster like Al Capone or Bumpy Johnson." I never thought about being a gentleman. I heard through the grapevine about guys like Frank Miller and Herman Fontaine who controlled the numbers racket. I also heard tales of loan sharks who broke kneecaps or took personal property and for collateral if a borrower couldn't afford to pay the money they got into debt for. My first encounter with gangsters was the street gangs now referred to as gang-bangers by sociologists and tele-journalists alike. We used to fight rival members of so-called gangs which lived in one of the city's five housing projects. The Bennett Homes rumbled against my crew, the East Side Press. On the west end of town, the William Penn Projects fought against The McCafferty Village Boys, usually over girls. And in middle town, the Lamokin Village or the L.V., as it was called, fought it out with the Highland Gardens or the gang from the Fairgrounds.

Remember those old black-and-white movies, where the man would jump out of the car, run around the other side, and open the door for his lady? Back then, chivalry was considered the normal way that men should behave. That was, until the 1950s, when feminism was born. When this happened, men seemed to got the wrong idea about the feminist movement. They seemed to think it meant that their services were no longer required. They were no longer needed to be kind, and gentle, and understanding of their female companions. As a result, the gentleman has become a dying breed. Unfortunately, they misunderstood. Although the feminist movement was about female independence and female equality, it didn't mean that they no longer wanted to be treated like a lady.

Have you ever heard of the term "nice guys finish last?"

I know, I know . . . I think I have an idea on what's going on in your mind right now, you're probably thinking "No, that's not entirely true, I don't agree with that. Women LOVE nice guys. Women love men who opens doors for them, takes out seats for them and treats them like a queen. Jerks might win their heart in the beginning, but then nice guys always get the girl in the end . . ."

Well for the record . . . YOU'RE WRONG.

I don't know what rock you've been living under for the past five years, but this is the 21st century my friend! I do agree with you on one point though, women do LOVE nice guys. They love them as friends, or as best friends, or as big brothers, or as cousins, etc. . But unfortunately, women would very RARELY like a nice guy to be their boyfriend.

Now before I get any violent reactions, let's talk about the term "NICE". What would qualify as a nice guy?

After a break up it is very easy to resort to just about any method if you want to get back together with your ex girlfriend. Trust me, some of the other "how to get your ex back" tips I have written were as devious as they were effective. However, good old-fashioned manners and acting like a gentleman can be more effective if that is the kind of thing she responds to.

Raising Our Boys to be Gentlemen

Boys are magical creatures. Their energy, way of looking at the world, enthusiasm for life and physicality are a joy to behold. Watching my son as he grows up is a constant source of delight and surprise to me. Yet I know his rambunctious energy needs direction to ensure that he grows up to be the best man he can be. One of the most important ways we can do that, as parents, is to raise our boys to be gentlemen.

Golf has long been known as a gentleman's sport. This sport even has its very own rules of etiquette. Despite the common assumption that these rules of golf etiquette are all about maintaining the gentlemanly state of the game for the most part, they each have practical purposes. The general reasons behind the rules of golf etiquette are 1) to insure the safety of golfers on the course 2) To keep the flow of the game going or 3) to assist in the maintenance of the golf course.

Would you like to know some Japanese dating customs? Surely, you must understand their dating customs and traditions before going on a date with a Japanese. Understanding these can give you the edge towards a very agreeable romantic relationship.

Like most people from every nation around the world, the people who love their roots would like to keep the customs and traditions that their ancestors have passed onto them so that the next generation will keep them too and pass to the generation, and so on. However, as hard as they try, some parts of a certain tradition or custom can be modified, sometimes to a large degree that one might consider the tradition to be already lost. Some are still valued, kept and managed to survive and clings to the values of the people. The dating customs are among those that managed to survive through the years, making the tradition of courting come alive even in today's modern world.

A gentleman is a chivalrous, courteous, honorable man, according to the dictionary. You may think gentlemen are people from the past, but thoughtfulness never goes out of style. Basically, a gentleman is considerate of others, and that's something to which anyone of any age should aspire. Here are the top six essentials of a gentleman:

Are you looking for a girlfriend or do you want to know how to get a girlfriend? To get a girlfriend, it all comes down to your attractiveness and qualities as a potential boyfriend. It maybe impossible to turn yourself into a perfect boyfriend, but it is possible to come close to an ideal boyfriend most women are looking for. Here are some tips to help you become a potential boyfriend and have a better chance of succeeding in the dating arena.

The art of seduction has long been associated with more women over the ages than it has with men. Remember Cleopatra or Delilah of days gone by. These two might provide us with an insight into what women look for in men before they can even think of getting them into their love nests. In the case of Cleopatra, could the power and the prestige of Mark Anthony been the main attraction towards the Roman as history teaches us it was Cleopatra who seduced Mark and not the other way round? In the story of Delilah, were Samson's six-pack and the desire to be held by a pair of strong arms the attraction?

There are many guys who are very introvert when they are meeting girls. So, if you are also shy or scared to meet and talk to girls, then you lack enough confidence. And it is very important to have confidence while talking to a girl. This is because girls get quickly impressed by a confident man. So, you need know how to be confident with girls. There are some ways and tips for you that can help you out:

OK, this can be a bit confusing. There are plenty of gentlemen out there and you may be one of them. When a woman says, "I like you as a friend," you can throw away your chance of being anything more. She is not attracted to you. You don't want to be a nice guy. Nice guys are stuck in the "friends only" category with women they want to date. You may have a lot of women friends. That is fine if that is all you want.

How can you combine gentlemanly behavior with attraction? Here are a few ways to distinguish whether you are a gentleman who creates attraction and excitement in women or whether you are just another guy who is seen as "nice."

Rules are meant to be broken... but not these ones - otherwise it is game over! Here are the unspoken expectations in courtship and the dating social skills you need to have to win your date over:

Confession, I was being emotionally drawn to a gentleman that I accepted as a contact on one of the social media sites. I have never joined an online dating site nor looked to seek dating someone online. However, when I received a request to accept a contact on a popular social media site, I was initially attracted to the photograph of the person that was requesting my contact. I had never used this site for dating, but for communicating with selected people that I knew and invited or accepted to communicate with. However, I realized that I was receiving many request, but always pressed the "Declined" selection. This one gentleman caught my attention though. Immediately after accepting, we began communicating. He provided me with pertinent information about him, where he was, what he was doing and that he wanted companionship. He stated that he was ready to settle down. What female would run away from a gentleman who was saying exactly what she wanted to hear? However, after a day of communicating, he told me that he is in love with me and wanted us to spend the rest of our lives together. Hmmm! This expedient vow of affection took me by surprised and I had to contemplate a very important question. Is Emotional Attraction More Important Than Physical Attraction in Dating?

If you want to become an alpha male you must get rid of certain beta male behaviours. Most men think that women are attracted to guys who are rich, big and good looking. Of course this plays a certain role but in fact women are attracted to men who are attractive. Of course you don't have to act like a caveman to show your dominance, in today's society being dominant means social power and self improvement. There are many nonverbal clues that you sign out to women that you are a beta male in this article I will describe five of them.

I was teaching a class on Lease Options a while back and one gentleman was asking me why someone would ever sell a house on a Lease Option. As I was answering he said, "but... " and then I answered his new questions and he said, "but... ". My daughter does this same thing. What he and my daughter have in common is they are looking for reasons why something won't work. I stopped teaching the class and focused on this gentleman. We had a quick discussion where I pointed out what I had noticed, and that I felt he was choosing to look for things to prevent his success. If you focus on why something won't work, it won't work. If this gentleman can shift his thoughts and his choices, it will change his life.

If you look at the practical results nice guys get, you will often discover that being nice is not as good as you may have been educated to believe.

Nice guys frequently have bad jobs and do not get ahead despite being good at what they do. They don't get the girl and if they do, they end up being a doormat in the relationship. They give everything and they frequently end up being used by others.

Why is this happening? In order to understand, you may need to shift you paradigm about nice guys and their behavior.

Today, being a gentleman is a matter of choice. It is a title you earn through an unwavering commitment to invest in your character. It is not about perfection, but a constantly renewed pursuit of excellence. Gentlemen are not stiff, pretentious, or focused on elevating themselves. Instead, they strive to succeed while helping those around them succeed as well. Being a gentleman means that you care about how your choices impact others. It is about human connection.
