The Scrum Framework is based on five Scrum values:

  • Commitment: Team members are committed to achieving the sprint goal.

  • Focus: Team members are focused on achieving the sprint goal and nothing else.
  • Openness: Team members are open to new ideas and feedback.
  • Respect: Team members respect each other and their ideas.

Scrum Roles

There are three core roles in Scrum:

  • Product Owner: The Product Owner is responsible for defining the product vision and roadmap, and for prioritizing the backlog of features to be developed.
  • Scrum Master: The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating the Scrum process and for removing any impediments to the team's progress.
  • Development Team: The Development Team is responsible for developing the product.

Scrum Events

There are four Scrum events:

  • Sprint Planning: The Sprint Planning meeting is held at the beginning of each sprint to plan the work that will be completed during the sprint.
  • Daily Scrum: The Daily Scrum is a 15-minute meeting held every day to track progress and identify any impediments.
