Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) is a highly flexible, secure, and scalable private cloud that lets you create and operate a logically isolated virtual network in the cloud. You can launch Amazon EC2 instances, host applications, and store data within a VPC. You can also create a hardware Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection between your VPC and your on-premises network. This allows you to securely access your on-premises resources from within your VPC, and vice versa.
