На протяжении всей жизни мы то и дело взаимодействуем с окружающими. Маленький ребенок, который хочет, чтобы мама с папой купили приглянувшуюся ему сладость, нередко шантажирует их своими слезами. Когда мальчик решает, заплакать ему или нет, он идет на риск — ему неизвестно, как отреагируют родители. Когда ребенок подрастет, ему предстоит столкнуться с новым вызовом — нужно будет решить, в какие вузы подать документы. Неправильное решение может обойтись очень дорого: если абитуриент выберет неправильную стратегию, он может попасть в слабый вуз или вообще никуда не поступить. После окончания университета перед юношами и девушками встает новая задача — поиск работы. Готовясь к собеседованию с работодателем, молодые люди просматривают множество статей о том, как лучше вести себя во время собеседования, — они стремятся найти наиболее выгодную стратегию поведения, принимая во внимание ожидания той фирмы, куда хотят устроиться. Общее во всех этих ситуациях — это то, что решения, принимаемые одними людьми, влияют на других людей. Именно это и называется стратегическим взаимодействием, и именно эти взаимодействия изучает такая дисциплина, как теория игр. Если мы хотим провести анализ некоторой жизненной ситуации, в которой присутствует стратегическое взаимодействие, и обнаружить оптимальную стратегию поведения в такой ситуации, нужно сделать два шага. Во-первых, требуется записать эту ситуацию на формальном языке теории игр, иными словами, создать модель (игру). Во-вторых, когда мы уже составили модель (игру), мы должны ее решить. В рамках данного онлайн-курса мы научимся решать такие игры. Мы пройдем основные классы игр (одновременные и последовательные, с совершенной и несовершенной информацией, коалиционные и некоалиционные), разберем возможные способы решения этих игр и рассмотрим их применение на различных примерах. Курс заинтересует тех, кто хочет побольше узнать о том, как соперничает несколько фирм и возможно ли гарантированно победить в шашки, стоит ли угрожать на переговорах и с кем лучше формировать коалиции в парламент. Курс состоит из коротких видеолекций от 3 до 15 минут, в которых встречаются встроенные неоцениваемые вопросы. После каждой из первых 10 лекций слушатели выполняют оцениваемый тест, состоящий из 10 вопросов.
