With over 16 hours of video tutorials and 16+ PDUs/CPDs, this course offers valuable tools, knowledge, and real-world scenarios to guide you on your path to becoming an exceptional project manager.
This course focuses on the following aspects of a typical waterfall/predictive project management:
In the Initiation phase, the project’s feasibility and value are assessed, defining the purpose and objectives and identifying key stakeholders. A project charter is created to formally authorize the project, outlining the goals, scope, and high-level plan.
Moving into the Planning phase, a comprehensive roadmap is developed. This includes detailed plans for scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, resources, risk management, and communication strategies, creating a blueprint to ensure the project remains on track and well-coordinated.
The Execution phase then focuses on delivering the project according to the established plan. Resources are allocated, tasks are managed, and stakeholder communication is facilitated to ensure project objectives are met and deliverables are produced effectively.
During Monitoring and Controlling, project performance is continuously measured to verify alignment with the plan, enabling proactive adjustments to stay on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
Finally, the Closeout phase wraps up the project by confirming that all deliverables meet the required standards, gathering lessons learned, and closing any outstanding documentation. This phase formally completes the project, providing a record of its outcomes and any insights for future projects. Together, these five phases enable project managers to maintain control, ensure quality, and deliver successful project outcomes.
This course covers everything you need to know for the phases as delineated above.
