In this example, we have three different fictitious investment advising companies with very different prospective clients. Each company uses a very different voice to appeal to their specific target audience.
What voice should you use to suit your own personality AND appeal to your ideal reader?
Thanks to a lot of student feedback, I'm adding this example lecture to show you how to use a variety of tone in your writing. This lecture teaches you how to vary your tone within the same piece of writing. And it also shows you two contrasting examples of how to use a polarizing tone vs. a neutral tone in your writing.
Content that flows is a pleasure to read. Content that doesn't flow is difficult to read and won't keep a reader's attention for very long. Learn 8 common issues with flow and how to correct them.
Here is an example of how to take a nonsensical run-on sentence with poor grammar and clean it up so that it is clear, well-divided and easy to read.
Flow is something that you can always improve upon. It draws your reader deep into the content and makes it a pleasure to read. Learn 8 more ways to improve flow in your content.
Now that we've looked at ways to improve the flow of your content, let's look at some concrete examples of how this is done it the real world of writing. Students have been asking me for example lectures for a long time, so I'm very excited to bring you these examples.
Obviously editing is important. But editing isn't just correcting simple spelling and grammar mistakes. Editing will improve everything else about your content too, including flow, voice and tone, and value.
Also in this lecture, you'll learn how to work with an editor, what to tell them so they edit your work correctly and some tips for self-editing if you cannot afford an editor.

If you haven't watched it yet, this lecture might be the most important one in the course. Keywords are the key (pun intended) to getting traffic to your content, which is key to engaging an audience and making money with your content.
In this lecture you'll learn how to do some deeper keyword research and even more importantly, how to make good decisions about which keywords to use and which keywords to ignore.
