Some tips to make the most of the course:
Use the tools available such as pausing the slides, taking notes, or bookmarking parts that you may want more time to digest, revisit or just sit with for a moment.
Don’t skip the practical exercise unless you feel you can’t complete it. Learning to process an emotion is experiential. You will not be asked to take on anything ‘big' and you are always in control of the exercise.
Revisit the exercise presented to practice and to continue to expand your language around emotions.
Remember very few of us get taught this skill when we are young, so it is difficult for everyone, but it is something you can learn and gets much easier with practice.
