- Normal: This is the default blend mode, which does not blend the layers together. Instead, it simply overlays the top layer on top of the bottom layer.
- Lighten: This blend mode lightens the pixels of the top layer, making them more visible. It can be used to add highlights to an image or to brighten a dark area.
- Darken: This blend mode darkens the pixels of the top layer, making them less visible. It can be used to add shadows to an image or to darken a light area.

- Screen: This blend mode subtracts the pixels of the top layer from the pixels of the bottom layer, resulting in a lighter color. It can be used to create highlights or to add light to an image.
