In this advanced technique former title challenger and star of NBC's The Contender television program, Johnathan Reid and professional boxing trainer Kerry Pharr demonstrate how to parry a jab and block a hook.

The left jab is the most important punch in boxing. You use your jab to set up your right cross and left hook. A clean jab scores points, keeps your opponent off balance and is sometimes powerful enough to knock out your opponent.

The right cross is your power punch. in This video you will learn how and when to throw a right cross or how to land your "Suzy Q" punch.

In this video you will see how to throw the classic one-two or left right boxing combination. In this combination you lead with a fast jab and throw the right cross immediately behind it.

Former world title challenger and NBC "The Contender" star Johnathan Reid demonstrates how to throw a hook off of the jab.

Former title challenger Johnathan Reid and I demonstrate how to use the shoulder roll to pretect against getting hit by the right hand. When Ken Atkin fought the legendary Tommy Hearns we practiced the shoulder roll for eight weeks before our fight with Hearns in Aloha stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. Atkin lost the fight because of a cut eye but he was never tagged, hurt or knocked down by Hearns because he effectively used the shoulder roll.

Keith McKnight gives a perfect illustration of how to counter a jab in this nationally televised fight. You'll notice Kerry Pharr in the corner with him.

In this video you will learn how to use a hyper extension machine to work your stomach, back and oblique muscles. We call this exerciise - Around the World.

In this video we'll show you how to do a leg leg with a twist. You're gonna love this ab exercise.
