What people are saying
required reading
I suggest that the required reading material be transformed into videos.
thanks it just needs more time good Overall a good class but the required reading links could use some help as they didn't always seem to cover the videos of that section.
Less required reading and more targeted lectures would make it great.
Thanks for gives me opportunity to acquire the valuable communication way through this course Actually this course is a "key to success" for most of the new generation work environments however the presentation of the course seemed a bit too shallow when you compare the amount of "required readings" they suggest before weekly quiz.
In addition some of the links to required reading are no longer working or the article is behind a login window.
Very uneven presentation (two different instructors, plus guest speakers, with no explanation of why), required reading assignments that linked to articles behind subscription paywalls, and very poorly-worded quizzes made for a frustrating learning experience.

easy to understand
While the course content was easy to understand and to follow, the quizzes were somehow odd.I had the feeling they were more designed to make you fail (especially as a non native speaker) than to test if you worked through the course content.
The teacher is articulate, thorough and the information is easy to understand.

reading material
A lot of reading material is unavailable (link does not work or it is behind paywall).I also found the videos lacking.
The value of this course is the collection of reading materials that can be found in the same place.
The answers are based strictly on the reading material and examples provided therein.

communication skills
Great course to sharpen communication skills.
I would recommend it to my friend to learn how they can improve their communication skills at workplace and can be a good employee and a great manager.
I was thinking it will also emphasise and help us to grow our communication skills for the 21st century communication, but it's just a brief explanation of some changes and nothing more.

my work
This course was very useful for my work, as I work in gaming industry.
I`m for example a french educated student, so I prefer to take courses with a teacher who talks in a comprehensive way in which I can understand everything he says in order to proceed in my work and then to benefit everything in this course.
Practical lectures The course is very useful to get the complex question of "How do I talk to ---- in my work place in different situations?"

put together
However, the course is poorly put together.Every week has a number of required reading links, some of which are broken or behind paywalls.
This is especially frustrating because it's one of those courses that gives you only one chance every 8 hours. To make things worse, there are no discussion boards where you can get help, which I've never seen on Coursera. If this course were better put together, I would give it five stars.
Well put together.

correct answer
in the test questions, that was not correct answer.
test must have ONE realistic and logical correct answer, and other options / answers must be non-realistic.
The poor evaluation comes from the composition of the review quizzes: The end-of-section quizzes ask questions to which there can be more than one correct answer, yet only a single response will receive credit.

communicate with
It gave great tools and information to think about as a middle manager and how to properly communicate with Awesome!
For example, many readings in "communicate with manager" section are general communication tips.

not even
I didn't pay so much attention to the slides that came with this - in fact, I'm not even sure how relevant they are looking back.
There are some link to websites where you can learn much more and which are not even written by the professor.

test questions
test questions is somehow not realistic and are not logical.
and beside of that, other test questions were so illogical and many of answers could be the right answer.
