O(a) estudante deste MOOC desenvolverá a capacidade de refletir sobre sua historicidade (língua, plurilinguismo, filiações, visão cultural), suas identificações, sua identidade plural (idio-cultural e multicultural); da mesma forma, espera-se que o estudante seja mais reflexivo sobre si mesmo e seus discursos nas situações complexas que enfrenta. Ele(a) prestará mais atenção a todas as formas de alteridade nos discursos, ações e tomadas de decisão que empreender; aprenderá a construir terceiros espaços e assumirá o papel de mediador em suas interações sociolinguísticas e experiências sociais.

Este curso é destinado a profissionais de diversas áreas (com graduação ou pós-graduação, ou estudos técnicos pós-secundários), envolvidos principalmente no ensino de idiomas, mas não exclusivamente (ciências sociais, educação, administração). No final deste curso o aluno terá ferramentas que lhe permitirão refletir mais cuidadosamente sobre sua história, identidade, linguagem, discurso e reação a situações sociais que envolvam a compreensão intercultural dos demais.

Introdução ao curso
Interculturalidade através da diversidade e da linguagem
Este módulo se propõe a refletir sobre as noções de diversidade e alteridade como produto de toda a experiência e representação humana e que deve necessariamente ser transmitida através de nossa principal ferramenta de comunicação que é a linguagem verbal e não verbal. E por isso é essencial que você venha a se tornar cada vez mais ciente de como manifesta o que percebe ser igual ou diferente dos outros. Algumas definições destes conceitos serão abordadas através dos recursos e atividades disponíveis no módulo. Você também explorará como se relacionam com sua vida e experiências sob as seguintes perguntas: O que eu acho que é igual a mim? O que é diferente de mim? Como o sei? Como eu o manifesto? Para que serve ter consciência disso? Este módulo o conectará às questões abordadas nos outros módulos deste MOOC, para compreender a importância de incluir a consciência da interculturalidade em nossa vida diária. Desta forma, contribuímos para a construção de sociedades mais equitativas e livres em termos de oportunidades e direitos.

Situações de alteridade e dimensões culturais
Minha intenção neste módulo é convidá-lo(a) a explorar, do ponto de vista de conceitos e práticas, a diversidade de contextos que ocorrem nas interações entre indivíduos e grupos; as experiências linguísticas (bilíngües, multilíngües e plurilíngües) e as experiências culturais e interculturais. É uma questão de refletir sobre as formas de educação que são suscetíveis e que nos permitem compreender melhor o homem plural de quem Lahire, (2005) fala; aquele indivíduo em constante mobilidade (física e mental); que tenta conciliar, por um lado, sua aspiração individual de criar seu próprio caminho e, por outro, as oportunidades (sociais e profissionais) que oferecem às sociedades de origem, de transição e de acolhimento. Desejo promover um espaço de discussão e construção colaborativa centrado nas dimensões interculturais enfrentadas por especialistas e não-especialistas em línguas, e assim permitir aos participantes transformar a diversidade das histórias individuais e coletivas em um vetor educacional, numa ferramenta para a coesão social. Atento à evidência formativa e às experiências plurais e interculturais da vida cotidiana, convido você a questionar e mobilizar seus próprios conhecimentos, marcos de referência, valores, posições éticas e recursos práticos, com o objetivo não só de criar, discutir e compartilhar, mas também de construir em cooperação (hoje e amanhã) modelos de desconstrução da reprodução das injustiças sociais.
Idioma, Híbrido e Terceiros Espaços
Este módulo de nosso MOOC foca na noção de terceiro espaço e de hibridismo em relação à interculturalidade. O objetivo é lhe ajudar a refletir sobre suas próprias reações e crenças sobre "o outro" à luz da dimensão intercultural no ensino e aprendizagem de línguas. Em particular, você será introduzido(a) à noção de Terceiros Espaços em relação ao uso da linguagem híbrida, ajudando-o(a) a chegar a termos com a noção de diferença, através de experiências de contradição e ambivalência, o que o(a) levará a considerar identidades e significados híbridos.
Mobilidade Intercultural e Autodesempenho
Neste módulo estaremos interessados em saber como as autobiografias multilíngües contam a história do mundo, ou melhor, o tout-monde ou mundo-inteiro; vamos decompor os conhecimentos autobiográficos, teóricos e artísticos sobre a experiência intercultural. Vamos trazer à ressonância experiências interculturais e práticas autobiográficas multimodais.
