El curso de Profundización y actualización en Enfermedad Cardiovascular del adulto pretende mejorar la capacidad del estudiante para llevar a cabo procesos de evaluación de riesgo, clasificación y abordaje diagnóstico para así establecer planes de prevención y tratamiento adecuado en su práctica clínica habitual de las cinco enfermedades más prevalentes en este escenario (ateroesclerosis, hipertensión arterial, falla cardiaca, fibrilación auricular y diabetes mellitus).

Aterosclerosis y dislipidemia

Bienvenido al primer módulo del curso “Profundización y actualización en enfermedad cardiovascular”. En este módulo comprenderá el proceso que va desde la formación de la placa aterosclerótica a la manifestación de la enfermedad cardiovascular y su impacto en la salud global. Tendremos cuatro lecciones en las que abordaremos los siguientes temas: impacto de la enfermedad ateroesclerótica, perfil lipídico, metas de tratamiento y riesgo cardiovascular en el paciente diabético. Se realizará una aproximación didáctica al conocimiento, por medio de video conferencias y animaciones, que permitan el aprendizaje de las temáticas descritas, por esto le invitamos a consultar todos los recursos.
