Preparación de su mente para la innovación
El pensamiento de diseño no se trata solo de proceso y herramientas, también se trata de gente: de usted como pensador del diseño y de la gente con y para quien quiere crear valor. Y, por lo tanto, antes de que nos introduzcamos en el proceso del uso del pensamiento de diseño para generar y probar ideas, primero nos queremos enfocar en su mentalidad y examinar si su mente está preparada, tanto para ver, como para actuar sobre una oportunidad cuando aparece en su mundo. Generación de ideas
Ahora nos introduciremos más profundamente en el proceso de pensamiento de diseño, analizando cómo podemos usarlo para generar mejores ideas. En este módulo, examinaremos la historia de un emprendedor, Chris Cartter, y su emprendimiento MeYouHealth, mientras trabajaban con la firma de diseño de Boston, Essential Design, para comprender la clase de oportunidad que las redes sociales pueden brindar para ayudarnos a mejorar nuestra salud. El primer paso en el proceso de pensamiento de diseño es examinar lo que ya existe. Experimentación
Luego de haber generado todas estas ideas innovadoras, ¿qué sigue? El proceso de pensamiento de diseño ahora nos ayuda a tomar las muchas ideas que hemos generado y a descifrar cómo determinar cuáles son probable que produzcan los tipos específicos de resultados que deseamos, ya sea que estos tomen la forma de una mejor nutrición para las personas mayores (por ejemplo The Good Kitchen), opciones de estilos de vida más saludables (por ejemplo, MeYouHealth) o incluso más «clientes potenciales» que emanan de sus ferias comerciales (como en el siguiente ejemplo de IBM). En este módulo, seguiremos las actividades de un equipo de IBM que trabaja estrechamente con la experimentada agencia de marketing George P.
