¿Cómo funciona una organización por dentro? ¿Qué elementos psicológicos y sociales se ponen en juego cotidianamente en las dinámicas de una empresa? ¿Cuáles son las señales clave que debemos conocer para gestionar y dirigir un equipo de personas?

Este tipo de preguntas son las que analizaremos en este curso, y responderemos bajo dos principales conceptos estudiados en profundidad: las dinámicas organizacionales y la cultura organizacional. Gracias a ellos dos (y al vínculo existente entre ambos). Conociendo la importancia de la estructura organizacional o de los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible, el verdadero significado del liderazgo, o cómo estudiar algo intangible pero fundamental en las organizaciones (la cultura), podrás conocer los elementos teóricos y prácticos para saber la importancia de los aspectos sociales en las organizaciones, y en particular, para su gestión, intervención y mejora.

Interacción social y cultura organizacional
Bienvenidos y bienvenidas al curso sobre Interacción Social y Cultura Organizacional. A lo largo de las próximas semanas, estudiaremos la importancia de las organizaciones desde un punto de vista psicológico y social. Para ello, atenderemos a dos apartados principales:
1) Las dinámicas organizacionales, es decir, los elementos activos y cambiantes que componen las organizaciones, formados por las personas e interacciones que entre ellas ocurren.
2) La cultura organizacional, esto es, el por qué las personas hacen lo que hacen en una organización, por qué lo hacen de esa forma, y no de otra, y qué acciones les han llevado a comportarse así (en un conflicto, al establecer una meta, o en la comunicación, por ejemplo).
Como veremos, todos estos elementos son centrales a la hora de proponer un cambio en la empresa o para mejorar su eficacia y eficiencia.

La importancia de las dinámicas en las organizaciones
Esta semana nos enfocaremos en introducir la importancia de las organizaciones como actor social. Para ello, usaremos la metáfora de la organización como ciudad, y la ciudad como organización. De este modo, entenderemos que muchas cosas que ocurren las ciudades ocurren dentro de las empresas y viceversa. Tras ello, comenzaremos a estudiar algunas de las principales dinámicas organizacionales: cuáles son, en qué consiste, y cuál es su relevancia en el estudio y mejora de las organizaciones.
Dinámicas y procesos organizacionales
En esta semana, continuaremos analizando las dinámicas organizacionales. Por un lado, terminaremos de conocer las más relevantes, pero también enfatizaremos el vínculo existente entre ellas, y por tanto, la dependencia mutua y la necesidad de estudiarlas en conjunto y de conocer el efecto entre ellas.
¿Qué es la cultura organizacional?
Esta semana, presentaremos el concepto de cultura organizacional, entendiendo qué es, para qué sirve, y la relevancia que tiene en el estudio psicosocial de las organizaciones.
Además, estudiaremos cuál es el vínculo entre las dinámicas organizacionales y la cultura, aprehendiendo que son conceptos que se influyen mutuamente y que, por tanto, necesitamos tener una visión global y de conjunto a la hora de estudiarlos y de llevar a cabo análisis o procesos de intervención reales.
La cultura organizacional y sus tipos
Esta semana terminaremos de afianzar el concepto de cultura organizacional. Para ello, presentaremos algunas de las principales herramientas para el estudio de la misma. En concreto, nos enfocaremos en las metodologías cualitativas, tales como la etnografía o el shadowing.
Por otro lado, estudiaremos una clasificación clásica de los tipos de cultura organizacional, para poder sacar conclusiones en la toma de decisiones sobre un análisis o intervención organizacional.
