En este curso veremos cómo identificar el concepto de grupo social desde una perspectiva psicosocial y cómo situar dicho concepto en un contexto organizacional. Se analizará también el concepto de estructura grupal, así como algunos de sus principales elementos como el rol social y el estatus.

En esta semana se trata de identificar el concepto de grupo social desde una perspectiva psicosocial, así como situar dicho concepto en un contexto organizacional. Se analizará también el concepto de estructura grupal, así como algunos de sus principales elementos como el rol social y el estatus.

El rendimiento grupal

En esta semana se trata de analizar el rendimiento o productividad grupal y para ello se analizarán los efectos que tiene el concepto de facilitación social. También se analizarán algunes dificultades que supone el Trabajo en equipo y que se concretan en pérdidas de motivación y coordinación; dichas pérdidas pueden dar lugar a fenómenos como el de la holgazanería social. Finalmente se analizará la importancia que tiene la interpretación que un grupo hace del tipo de tarea a realizar.

El liderazgo en las organizaciones

El tema de esta semana se refiere a uno de los conceptos más trabajados en el ámbito de las organizaciones: el liderazgo. Este rol se define por la influencia que tiene en el grupo de colaboradores y que presenta efectos tanto en el cumplimiento de los objetivos de grupo como en las relaciones afectives intragupales.

La toma de decisiones

¿Qué es mejor, la decisión individual o la decisión grupal? Este tema trata de identificar algunos de los momentos que un grupo experimenta cuando toma una decisión, y que pueden definir si la decisión tomada es errónea o acertada. Así mismo, se trata de definir el concepto de “Pensamiento grupal” como la causa de que un grupo tome una mala decisión.
