Foundational skills for project online 2019

According to students, Project 2019 Online Essentials offers a largely positive and solid introduction to Microsoft Project Online. Learners frequently highlight its effectiveness for beginners and those new to the online version, praising the instructor's clear explanations and the helpful, hands-on demonstrations. While many find the course provides a strong foundational understanding and practical examples for immediate application, some note it can feel too basic for experienced users and may lack the depth required for advanced project management tasks. Overall, it's considered an excellent starting point for navigating the UI and basic project setup.
Demos may occasionally not align perfectly with live software updates.
"My only minor gripe is that sometimes the demo environment didn't exactly match my live environment due to updates from Microsoft, but that's hard for any online course to keep up with."
"I noted that the course content, while generally excellent, might occasionally lag behind the very latest software updates, which is understandable."
Instructor's delivery and visual demonstrations are highly effective.
"The instructor explained concepts clearly and the demonstrations were very helpful. I appreciated the practical examples."
"The instructor has a very clear delivery and breaks down complex features into manageable steps. I particularly liked the hands-on approach."
"The instructor was engaging, and the content was easy to follow. I specifically learned about integrating with the installed application."
"The instructor’s pacing was excellent, and the visual demonstrations made everything easy to grasp."
Provides a clear and effective introduction for new users.
"This course was exactly what I needed to get started with Project Online. I feel much more confident using the software now."
"Excellent course for beginners! ... It's perfect if you're transitioning from an older version or are completely new to Project Online."
"Perfect for beginners and those new to the online version. ... This course truly provided me with the foundational skills I needed."
"I found it to be a solid introduction for understanding the basics and getting familiar with the interface."
Some sections feel slow, and real-world examples can be too basic.
"The pacing felt a bit slow at times, and some explanations could have been more concise. I also found that some of the real-world scenarios were a bit simplistic."
"The course provides a decent introduction, but some parts felt a little rushed, and others overly detailed."
"I struggled with a few of the more complex explanations. I think it could benefit from more interactive exercises."
May be too basic for those with prior experience or seeking advanced topics.
"Honestly, I was expecting more. If you have any prior experience with Project desktop or other PM tools, you might find this too slow."
"I wish there were more advanced topics or case studies. Still, it served its purpose for understanding the basics."
"It's a starting point, but don't expect to become a master project manager from this alone. Requires supplementary learning."
"It didn't go into enough depth for me on features like resource leveling or advanced reporting. I needed more than just the 'essentials.'"
